This has pc-98 energy to it, its nice and refreshing!

Its nice, I like it. Sort of just wish we could've gotten a more powerful climax where the melody gets played by different instrument. Maybe a modulation as well. The song is very catchy but I wanted it to build up to a clearer, more energetic climax. Then again, that piano slapped.

The EoSD soundfont goes so hard - it works really well with Hartmann's Youkai Girl, and gives it a regal feel, which suits one of the residents of the Palace of the Earth Spirits. Also, the transition between Hartmann's Youkai Girl to U.N. Owen Was Her? is INSANELY smooth! Can't wait to hear the finished version!

Interesting combination. They go together better than I expected, although one of them always seems to be more dominant than the other.

This sounds really cool! I loved how it was a mix of the newest games in terms of how it sounds as the most recent games had some really stellar OST tbh. I love it especially when at 1:05 the ZUNpets that are very Touhou 17-like blare in. The song kind of gives me youkai Marisa vibes if that makes any sense? Or maybe the fox that was pretending to be Marisa from the manga. Either way, good luck on the game! Do you have any details that you'd be willing to share about it (e.g. genre, the basic plot, etc)?

i really dig the omnious yet still upbeat and hopeful atmosphere you got here (it kinda reminds me of th18's stage 5 theme in a way, even though both are clearly different compositions), but as it's said before it's kinda lacking for a boss theme, it feels more like a stage 5 theme i feel like a sliiiightly higher tempo and a more aggressive percussion pattern would help make it feel more like a boss theme

I still wonder what the hell SinGyoku actually is. Who are they? Are they the same person? What is their purpose? It's one of the only times we get to fight a dude in Touhou. It's so off compared to modern day Touhou, it's so mysterious, and like many things in PC-98, we'll probably never get an answer.
