Outlast speedruns. Mostly.
Outlast Any% Speedrun 5:56.32 (PC)
With new skip in the lab I managed to get a sub 6 even with very slow Wernicke skip. The new skip uses 2 wall boosts to skip turning the valve before heading to the room with long stair case. The skip can save up to 50 seconds, but it's difficult to do fast, in this run I managed to save about 20 seconds with it.

It finally happened! Skip big enough for me to do more runs. Thanks to Lampoos (czcams.com/video/T6F11W7q-wI/video.html link to original video of the skip) we can now skip Wernicke talk in the lab (as well as Chris' death scene)! Got pretty good run with some new skips and strats. Having text in chinese saves time when using computer, since there's less characters to type out. Saves 10 seconds. There were some pretty big mistakes still, like dying once at the chase scene towards the end and failing the cart glitch once after Val skip. Still pretty happy with the run, although I wish I got the sub 1:58.

This is my first good run with some new skips, including mill skip and some smaller ones. There were some mistakes, biggest one in the mines dying once to the dodge before mine cart push. I think that cost about 15s. On the other hand got very fast Val skip, which is rare. Quite happy with the run, might try for sub 1:45 later though.

New personal best after lots of failed attempts. Lost about 10 seconds in courtyard to wallride. Also missed the attempt to do new skip in return to admin, could've saved another 10s or so. Still pretty happy with the run.

Decided to try insane difficulty speedrun after long time. First time doing it on PC (besides one run earlier this week). There lots of difficult skips and tricks, so I had quite a few time losses here. I will try to improve and go for sub 20 eventually.

Two new skips helped save over 40 seconds, plus some small optimizations here and there. Obviously this wasn't perfect run, sub 1:46 is possible. Very happy that I could do both new skips pretty fast on my first attempt (22:00 and 23:40 in the video).

Getting closer to sub 2h, which is possible but not easy. Had some big mistakes on this run, like dying twice to Laird while getting the camera, but a lot cleaner run than my previous pb. I might try to improve this to at least 2:00:xx, but I'm also interested doing any% and insane runs on Outlast 2.

Finally learned the route for Outlast 2 100% (get all documents and recordings), this was my second run of the category. There's some big mistakes, especially in the mines where I lost like 2 minutes. I will try to improve, this category is very unoptimized.

Outlast is genuinely one of the saddest games Ive ever seen. Absolute despair, fighting through some of the human race's worst horrors only to fail to survive in the end. I actually cried during the final minutes of the game.
