AmberF (@beudmama) had a great tutorial on getting product out of the tube using centrifugal force. Fill it with air, close the tube, shake it vigorously from the end. Then, the pressure pushes the product out easily!

This is very insightful and interesting to learn about. I usually shop online so I don’t feel pressure to buy and don’t feel bad if I have to return.

Really enjoyed listening to this video. You have put a lot of thought into guauging the psyche of a Chanel customer from the people who often can't afford their makeup, to the ones who love the thrill of buying a luxury product. Myself when I walk into a department store selling your brand, I just know that i might have to pay a little extra for Chanel but no other brand comes close to competing with the unique shades of everything, wrapped in quality packaging and presented beautifully. Always worth it. Just one observation with regards to Chanel skincare, why do they use so much unnecessary fragrance? As a rule, fragrance in skincare is a big no no for long term use. Other than this, Im a big fan!

It seems most content creators are on a slow, or low, buy. I am all for shopping your stash, especially products that are not limited editions. Deep dives into products and brands would be most welcome. Such as a deep dive into your blushes, or your LH collection. Helps to get a great over view of things in general. I am perfectly content with my Chanel base products and eye products, but my head has been turned by Jane Iredale blushes, a few indie eye palettes and I am still on the search for better brow products. Chanel is woefully deficient in brow items.

The Laura Mercier caviar eye sticks are pretty bloody good. Much better quality than the By Terry ones. Better shade range too.

To my eye, given the lighting, it seems the darker cooler ones, the less saturated lighter, neutral-toe into warm side ones and anything more blue based work best for you. Overtly warm, and pale nudes just don't work for you. If you were to be colour season analysed, I'd be betting on a winter or more vibrant summer slotting. The saturated berries, burgundies, bright pinks etc all become you and bring you to life. I may be right off track due to the lighting and computer screen translation! 😂

Thank you for featuring a wide range of products. A lot of them are new to me. I only just got my first Colourpop palette last week. To be honest, I am pretty much a basic Chanel makeup woman. I just find their products reliable, consistent and I can usually get samples to try at home. Having said that, I do feel there are many products that are just as good, if not better, in the indie field. You've opened my eyes to brands I knew nothing of. Loving that lip colour on you! Do you consider your undertone cool or warm?
