I'm not a expert martial arts actor but I didn't see any reason why he couldn't have just executed his plan from the beginning before they killed the owner true he would've been facing down a shot gun with two shells ready to be fired into his face at point blank range not a insignificant consideration even for men who are hard to kill but rather than a liability this would mean when he just snatched it away from the ringleader he would then be holding a loaded shotgun instead of just a stick but if he had done any of that there would have been no murder no broken footsies just a mortified and severely chastised youth gang.
seems the guy totally forgot he had a gun! funny also how some of the decisive moves in any of the little fight scenes are shown with enough detail to actually be visible at all

This is SO MUCH BETTER THAN...... Jackie Chan fighting 2 or 3 guys , using a chair , shirt, ladder, rope or something to fight them Then deals with the rest of them , same way....next 2 or 3 and uses whatever he can get his hands on and use it as a weapon. More jumping/ moving around, punching and kicking. It was EASIER to play with my kid neighbors(as a kid) and pretend to aikido each other! (Pretend to push or throw them around) As opposed to setting up tables , chairs, ladders and have 2 or 3 kids "attacking " ONE and using a chair or a ladder to PRETEND to hit them and also jumping around and NOT get hurt. And no punches or kicks. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
