What carat is that diamond?
Don’t remember exactly but probably 1-1.25 Ct
Where are you located. Do you have classes to teach others
Sorry. I don’t have a school or teach classes… I make an video every once in a while because my customers and friend enjoy the behind the scenes
Very Nice educating as well can I contact you for questions about the jewelry business
Hi. Can you tell me if more gold can be added to make a band thicker or wider easily?
The best way is to cut portion of the shank off and replace it with a new wider heavier piece… adding it to an existing shank is not really possible.
this video is amazing thank you
My father was a bench Jeweler. At least an "A" level. He's retired now. Watching your videos, I feel like I'm looking over his shoulder again as I did growing up and getting to see him work. I too am working on becoming a bench man. You're videos provide the perfect blend of nostalgia and education I need to grow my 3rd arm hahaha. Can't wait to see more. Thank you kindly.
👋 ❤❤
How do you clean your ring before soldering
We have an ultrasound machine… it’s an important step in doing repairs… jewelry needs to be clean
to be fair when becoming a jeweler one has to just accept the fact that theyre not gonna have fingerprints for long lol. either from sanding/filing/polishing/burning they jus kinda wear off. love the vid, good fun trying to re-link these kinda things together.
It was very interactive 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
You need to wax the blade
This is probably my favorite bench jeweler tutorial. Thank you
Congrats , very nice workbench
Hi I’m learning with you
Sounds like I hear a tumbler in the background, good for you. I use mine all the time.

Definitely NOT where he spends most of his time.
probably spends most of it in the bathroom 🤭

Really helping me out here 💙
On God bro! Once I get the rest of my equipment 2k time gonna be slim asf 💯😂
This was really informative! Thank you!
Over 4 decades Im a jeweler, take my advise Im driven to drive what I know...Those jump rings are not soldered on purpose at the factory....Why, because if the chain is tugged too much the jump ring is the give point,...If it were to be soldered more likely than not if the chain is given that big tug, then the chain will break, being far more damaged...So thats the truthful answer as to why nearly 95% of these jump rings ARE NOT soldered...Have a great day, peace... Fun video by the way
Yeah. Pretty logic - no need to hav e to repair a chain, where it is most likely to be seen. If in doubt, make a test with the end of the chain and the ring - if the chain breaks, find/maker a thinner ring.
What a fascinating process! Thank you so much for uploading. :)
