Interestingly, we have the priviledge of realizing 3d creatures see in 2d so a 2d creature would see in 1d, and with that logic a 4d creature sees in 3d ie around walls. With this we also realize how difficult it would be for a 2d creature to realize a 1d creature sees in 0d, so there may be something a 4d creature would additionally understand about how dimensions work

Whats even weirder is that you actually only see in 2 dimensions while experiencing a 3d world if you think about it which is why a flat 2d desktop screen or phone makes sense still, but to a 2d being looking out they see in 1 dimension or a flat line. Whenever you think of a 3d object you can never see the whole thing at once like you can with a 2d object unless you flatten it into 2 dimensions which is an illusion of reality and impossible to think about how a creature would experience 4 dimensions and see in 3 especially since this is a simulation of a 4d space on a 2d screen.

I take issue with the flat example because from the perspective of the 2d man shown in the diagram, he is seeing a 1d world, a straight line where things may move up or down or seemingly become change size with distance. it takes a 3d being to observe the 2d world itself, the 3d being is just fixed in a certain place in the third dimension. following this logic, I'd like to pose that we are four dimensional creatures, living in a three dimensional world in the same fourth dimensional position. (this is all just for shits and giggles, I am not a scientist or mathematician or anything)

why not just make a 4d world instead of put 4d things in a 3d world

So is this why people think we live on a flat earth because they are seeing it from a 2D dimensional perspective instead of a 3D dimensional perspective? I would argue that this is a 5d game, because the 4th dimension (or 5th, however you want to arrange it) is time. Time is just a bunch of 3D slices of states of an object and it's movement/age ect, like frames in a movie. The same way 2D squares are just a bunch of slices of 3D cubes. We as humans are just only ever going forward along the time dimension. We're 3D beings moving at a constant rate along the 4th dimension of time. 5th dimension would be something like a multiverse, where things can move across timelines (aka universes). This is just my theory, and it calls into questions free will and determinism but hey! best not to think about that

If we could see the coordinates (x,y,z,d) somewhere on the screen next to the Super Mario Timer, we could track where we are and where we are moving. We could very quickly learn to move in 4D with coordinates.

I don't want to make skeptics go nuts, but the behavior of the 4D objects is very reminiscent of what people report of "UFOs".

Can the 3D slice be rotated in a way that you can see the X, Z and W all at the same time, but the slider become Y? So that you don't see the vertical dimension, effectively the same as laying the 2D plane flat on the ground in a 3D world.
