After reuniting with my children after 4 year and 4-month court battle. I was able to spend time with my kids. But when Mom realized that I had zero interest in rekindling our relationship. I discover her attempt to have the police get involved in her plan to restart her new wave of emotional abuse on my children. This is a roller coast ride of abuse. I always thought that child support was for men who didn't want to be in their kids lives and were deadbeats. Not the case. Seems like every man has to pay child support. You don't have to pay child support if you get 50/50 custody. Getting 50-50 custody should be the norm. It is not. And it's not the fault of the man. The courts have an incentive to put one parent on child support.

After listening to this judge testifying to the committee, it's clear to me that she does not know how to solve problems effectively. She identifies minor hurdles to solving this problem , and then she falls into the fetal position not knowing how to move forward. But the rest of us do not have that intellectual limitation. She is a terrible "expert witness"... and if I am correct she is a judge. That says a lot about family courts in Texas.

They are missing the mark. They say every case is different, and some judges do their best to understand the factors....but, in Texas, moms get primary custody 90% of the time. They have to address the obvious fact that decisions are made based on gender bias, not the best interests of the child. Judges are clearly ignoring the law. By ignoring this fact, their analysis goes in circles and ends up nowhere.

In my honest opinion, watching this judge and lawyer discuss best interest factors and legislation is really sad. Their analysis is so shallow. The conversation goes much deeper than what they are talking about. They don't seem to have the ability to analyze a problem and identify solutions.

Report was completely biased and inaccurate. Completely downplayed domestic violence that occurred towards me while the kids were present leaving bruises son my arms documented in a police report and left out the fact that my ex husband was diagnosed bipolar and refuses to seek treatment. Also asked her to recommend a therapist/counselor to see my 7 and 9 year old boys on weekly basis. Didn’t mention that at all in the recommendation, Denied my domicile change saying that I didn’t have clear and convincing evidence to prove the move would be beneficial. Mind you this initial appointment was in January 2023 just received the recommendation August 28 2024. Giving that much time to establish a custodial environment. It’s a joke I have so much evidence of his emotional and psychological abuse recording and documents of physical abuse towards me the kids and our dog who he abused in front of our then almost 2 year old. What are we seeing here?

This speaker's comments ring hollow. He talks about how applying the best interest factors is vague, how every case is different, and how each decision is subjective. But he misses the big picture. In Texas, primary custody goes to the mother about 90% of the time. It's obvious that custody is decided based on gender, and NOT on any legitimate or subjective analysis of the best interest factors. You can't hide from the numbers and the data.

A fundamental problem about the best interest factors is that judges can easily ignore factors that justify giving the father a custody... And only focus on factors that justify giving the mother custody. The system is ripe for gender bias because there are no internal controls to make sure judges make good decisions for children...or decisions based on the total circumstance.

Best interest is VOID for vagueness as there is no clear definition of it. It's UNCONSTITUTIONAL as (if/until a criminal conviction occurs) parents are the sole custodians of their child's "best inters"

I am appalled that such a discussion is even being held. Especially in a country whose population really believes it has the best legal system ever, even though it is the private population that is being cheated out of their rights time and time again by this immunity nonsense. It is only the private population that is being cheated out of their rights when a police officer is granted immunity. It is already ridiculous that police officers are granted immunity, but to now also claim that it is not a problem for state employees to lie in court really turns my stomach.

I have a very similar situation with my case It started with a juvenile case Social workers just fabricating stuff no evidence of nothing. This is a case with no child abuse no nothing. Social workers fabricating mental health to illegally obtain peoples children I hired a lawyer and the same thing happened This case started in juvenile courts I 6 District Court I got an appointed appellant attorney who filed a no issue Which I felt was set up in the first place I did not even apply for her I filed in San Francisco Supreme Court. The clerk told me that no Justice reads my filing. So when a narcissistic parent alienates their kids from another parent, is the narcissist parent not openly abusive to the children? My kids were older when I left my husband but he raged, belittled, mocked, wasnt their for them, played crazy mind games with them etc. So when I left, they felt releaved. Im not sure if he ever tried to aliante my kids from me but im sure he did as one of my kids showed all 3 signs that hes talking about. My kids started talking very rude and disrespectful to me and I just thought, "well, this is how they see their dad talk to me all the time".

I have beat 3 different false restraining orders from two different parties. It helped that both parties outright lied so obviously right in front of the judge. Shouldn't that be contempt of court or something? Shouldn't judges hold accountable those who pervert the law that is supposed to protect victims? Both of these parties are abusers. One being my peeping tom perverted neighbor who freaks out my animals in such a rare i that i know something is very wrong with him. That's more proof than anything they have on me. And the others are my sister and her new wife, whom i never met. I called my sister for the first time in over a year because my mother had a heart attack and was coding in the ambulance still at my house... that was harassment to her. Oh but she failed to tell why i called. Then the new wife did it again in less than a month but got caught by my lawyer making up false emails and other lies. The judge seemed really mad but i didn't have to say a word while she walked down the trap of her blatant lies and admitted inadvertently she was stalking me. They are in a different state, i had never met or talked to or met this person before. If judges don't address these blatant abuses of the legal system happening right in front of them it seems they never will.

Forcing a child to be a tattle tale is just wrong. It’s sad that a funded and “ intellegent” access point between child & parent dissolves a parent into tactics like this. Parents have a right to a meaningful role in their children’s lives. This is painful to watch. I hope they find a way to rise above this manipulation. I think the most difficult thing is the anger between the parents. They're mad at the wrong person. The people who run these courts are the lawyers. I've seen it on both sides. But it is an interesting game they've been playing. Domestic violence has gone up substantially. I do believe that the no fault divorce is a major contributer. Plus, there's a lot of peds who intentionally married straight women, never disclosing their perversions. Just look at what's happening in the game industry. Jeff, you would be blown away. There's ZERO news on it because the court cases are still going. I know the attorney who wrote the attorney fees. It's not a law. She actually wrote a BUNCH of "family code" when they decided to start operating family courts. How is this legal? Simple Texas never had "family courts"... it was always "civil courts". I think this can of worms opened right after the Walter Mondale safe child act or whatever it's called. And from what I'm gathering, it was written in order to keep collecting children nationally. They started collecting children in the 1800s in the Foundling Asylum's. All these Asylum's had the railroads running by them.
