Where? I use it everywhere. Seriously. I don't use a monitor. I use them 100% of the time - gaming, working, scrolling, watching movies, EVERYTHING. I use a handheld windows gaming device as my main pc w/ BT kb and mouse. Great setup.

Sad to see Oculink gone in favor of an obsolete port. USB-C is the future and newer devices will have to use USB-C at some point. I read some arguments about “loose” ports of USB-C and that’s a flat out lie and this is coming from someone who owns a LOT of USB Hubs. Unless, you buy the cheapest USB-C cable(that same argument also goes for USB-A. Cheap ones break within less than a year) USB-C cables are just as durable. *Edit speaking of USB Hubs, another argument I saw was the use of legacy devices and again, WHY? It’s only one port and if you have multiple devices that uses that same port, makes it more inconvenient. USB dock/Hub capability? There are USB-C docks and Hubs available. I’m more upset that GPD catered to a more of a niche audience than Oculink ESPECIALLY since they were the ones who tried to make Oculink more mainstream.

I have a Lenovo Legion Go which has 2 type c inputs/outputs, so this means nothing to me! I've also got 2 27600 power banks the size of a water bottle! I think i'm good on power! It irritates me to the Nth degree that their default layout is the Switch layout. These are clearly a better match for PC aligning gamers not really a problem with the MAX but the KK3 Pro will not have a button kit for Xbox layout.

Good honest review. I would have mentioned for the legion go users / people considering getting a legion go if you wanted these glasses you don’t need the dock as the go already has two usb c ports. I think these could be a great addition if you primarily use handhelds for gaming as your defiantly at a disadvantage playing some games like fps games on a smaller screen

I would argue that there is a lot of games that have small text size, that even with glasses are not easy to read, and maybe it could be easier to read on these then the steam deck or asus screen? Would that be a good case to buy glasses like these? I would love to know how text size gets affected with these. I got a gpd win max 2 and I love it, but still wish the screen size was bigger. I also wish the keyboard felt better to type on.

Right now I have a surface tablet for work, desktop for gaming. Android tablet for gaming/surfing and other stuff. Really want to get rid of all the clutter and put it all in one and I'm hoping this is the device for the job.

I just sold my Viture One. Your metaphor of them being like a 24” monitor at 2 feet away is spot on and far more relatable to me than 120” at 10’. I have a 55” OLED TV that I view at around 6’ and it feels so much bigger than the Viture.

Would you recommend these for remote work from a vehicle? I often need to work parked in my car on a laptop and normally work with multiple screens. Is the resolution high enough where I would not be straining my eyes to work on order entry/ Xcel spreadsheets?
