Introducing the All New Epson F6470 44 Inch Sublimation Printers
I can't even get the 800ML for the Epson 2270. Since Epson hasn't "made enough" because my $16k machine is "fairly new" I can't afford to have this problem. My prints currently aren't working out because my ML is low. I am a small business and I can't afford that. I am asking friends who have converted printers to make my prints because Epson has maintenance items out of stock.
@thehappyazshop520 Thanks very much for your comments. We do have the maintenance liquid in stock. It is available at: imagingspectrum.com/products/epson-f2270-dtg-800ml-maintenance-liquid-pack-t54kb20?_pos=3&_sid=3f03140b1&_ss=r. Or please feel free to give us a call at 214-342-9290 and we will be more than happy to assist you with your order
@@ImagingSpectrum Thank you! I will be placing that order!!
I bought the Epson F2270 from Swing design. Parts and maintenance items are usually on backorder. I really am regretting buying this high cost printer $16k. Now I'm getting Error 01138 "fatal error" I don't know what that means and there in no info on it. Can anyone help?
@thehappyazshop520 It may be possible that you have an issue with your capping station. If we can be of assistance then please don’t hesitate to contact us!
free test print?
@samperi2468 If you would like to contact use we can put in a request to get some sample printer to you as soon as the demo is available to print.
Where is the power cord? I can’t find it in the box.
@KathrynFulks double check the styrofoam packaging. It should be tapped to one of the top pieces that covered the F2270

Hi! I was wondering, does this printer need to be installed by you, or can I install it myself?
This printer is easy to set up and install yourself but for warranty purposes it should be set up by a vendor like Imaging Spectrum
I have 100% confidence in Bill.
So unfortunate that Epson does not offer a software RIP. I am sure it is possible
@mchenfoto they have Epson Edge Print which comes select printers. In your case if you are looking at dye sublimation printers it would come with the Epson SC F570 a 24 in sublimation printer.
Really informative and clear thank you !
2:07 here seems like DTG has more vibrant colors than DTF in comparison
@PinkettoStudio So what you are seeing in that specific spot is the DTF with a lot of white behind all the could and the DTG with less white because the garment behind it. The black garment makes the orange pop more.
Can we add puff printing on top of a dtg printed tshirt?
@jijinjohnson3341 You can add puff printing over or next to DTG prints. Just remember that the DTG is still a print so be causations with your heat press. To not create hard lines in your print.
Is Epson P Series capable of printing in Film for digital Imaging?
@user-eg7vy8ew8u can you provide me with some more details of what you are trying to occupation? It can print on film such as backlite media and screen positive films. So the printer can do film but it sounds like you are wanting specific film type.
The print area is to small. It is not even A3 format.
@anderslarsen8546 This printer is intended to be an intermediate printer for groups or people that are just starting out. The larger Epson Surecolor F2270 maybe what you are wanting to look into. We also have some videos on that printer as well.
@@ImagingSpectrum The concept is good but with the small print area it is still limiting possibilities. If I print on a t-shirt it will only be small images.
@@anderslarsen8546 the platen is still a 10x12 size or 12x10. Leaving plenty of room for you to do 12 in wide graphic for branding and such by simply turning the garment sideways.
my understanding is that this technology usually a lower quality vs the others, has pro like speed and durability of the photo. am I right? or this fuji is comparable with Canon ?
The DX100 has lab quality and is used a lot at some labs and camera stores for their prints. It has 3 quality levels you can use. Lower is really just for text or checking photos. Standard is the default and is excellent quality. Highest quality is better for photos with lots of areas of maximum density, but uses more ink. Canon does not have a lab printer to compare it to.
Hi my iPhone will not connect to my printer what can I do? I was trying to print from my phone
@WonteJoyner make sure you have Epson Iprint download on your phone to set you printer up for wireless direct printing.
How much is this
@bhampacleva4378 the HiTi P720L is discontinued but we do care the new versions of it. www.imagingspectrum.com/hiti_printers/
Hi question how to replace or remove the connecting wire from the spray nozzle assembly?
@InfoWIPNYC for that information we recommend contacting Lawson tech support at 314-382-9300 to have them send you supporting documents on how to remove the wiring.
Hello. How many shirts you can print whit 1 litre of color whit DTG. The design is 5inch per 5inch. (Like a square whit full color for example) Thanks.
@SanduBuz a print that size can range in ink volume depending on the garment and settings. The average would be about 1.5 ML for something that size that is basic and white base of ink. So you would take that number and divide it by the amount of ink the F2100 cartridges hold.
Thanks !
How to solve the error at size 8x12 on the DNP DS80 printer
Not totally understanding the issue, but if you are using 8x12 media and have been using 8x10, be sure to change the media size in the driver.
Wow - 12 years ago and I need you in 2024. Thank you!
i use in 3 pass, is there another form to increase speed?
@RodrigoSilva-tp9ux if you unclick Bidirectional printing it will increase your speed. Depending on the image quality you may be able to put it on 300 x 300 dpi to increase the print speed a bit more. Please keep in mind that the quality of the change by lowering these settings. So please compare your prints before pressing the transfer.
Does it print on canvas? I want to make canvas wraps
Hello, yes it prints on many kinds of canvas! Not only do we sell the printer, we carry many types of canvas, and the hardware to create the wraps. We'd love to answer your questions and help you put together a solution. Please give us a call at 214-342-9290 and ask for an inkjet specialist. you can also learn more about us by visiting, www.imagingspectrum.com/
Can any of those print 6X8?
The DS80 with 8x10 media can print a single 6x8, but it wastes a lot of ribbon and paper. With 8x12 media you can print 2-6x8 on 8x12. If you need single 6x8 prints you are better off printing with a DS40 or the current DNP 620.
Which one feels better? Is it a plastic sticker feel or is it soft like screen printing
@michaelpoison6732 The prints can feel like both of the examples that you have stated. This is due to the levers there are printed at as well as the materials you use during the curing process. Using the basic DTF settings that we set for you and a Teflon sheet to cure the print will give you a softer finish.
285 degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit? Thanks in advance.
@lotusa88 That would be Fahrenheit on our heat press.
I need help with take off storage mode off my Epson f2100 printer how do I do that
@marianoperez1488 feel free to reach out to us at www.imagingspectrum.com at the there is a Contact Us link. We would be glad to help you. The printer should have prompted you replace the storage cartridges with the ink once you turned it back on from storage mode. So please reach out to us and we will help with that next steps.
LOL its literally rebranded kodak 305
Walmart should stop using these printers
Epson clearly doesn't understand its customers. Until they do the will be competing with the old printers that people are converting and Chinese companies. But nice try.
I can buy three Epson surecolor p5000s for the same amount that not only takes a roll and sheets as wide as 17 in. I know Epson can do better
What is the benefit of using a printer like Roland 30” vs a regular Epson printer? Can you do the same stuff with both
@susanjuarez4311 The are to major differences from a Roland printer and an Epson printer. The Epson has its own built in cleaning system that cleans the print head every few hours to prevent head issues as well as extending the life of the print head. The second major difference is that you can make DTFs or DTG with the Epson printer and software effortlessly out of the box. Meaning once you do the initial setup you can start printing.
@@ImagingSpectrum can you do this with Roland’s too?
@@susanjuarez4311 Do you have a model of Roland you are trying to compare the Epson F2270 printer to?
@@ImagingSpectrum In the process of doing research for our new machine but we have a friend who owns a Roland 54” I believe it is, and we are working with him to get our own but 30”. I know it’s on the higher end, you can cut and print. However, not many videos on it I see on CZcams as far as the printing part. Just wondering if we would be able to do what the smaller machines do but on the Roland
@@susanjuarez4311 So the Roland you are referring to is a Vynil printer, not a Direct To Garment printer. You can look at the Epson Surecolor Serios the get a better idea of what a vynil printer looks like. As for this video it shows Direct To Film which is a secondary form of printing for the F2100 that is in this video.
The biggest size platen is the 10x12?
@GelosLandinni that is correct. It is Epson's new entry level printer.
Wish I could find a driver for this printer. Driving me nuts.
@justdaveed1015 Please let us know what computer and version of software you are using on it so that way we can help you out with that!
Thanks this helped
Is pre treat needed?
@letsgo_esko You will need pre-treated garments if you plan on printing direct to garment. If you plan on doing direct to film then you will need powder for the back of the print to be able to apply it to the garment. Take a look at some of our other videos to get a better idea on how the two styles differ. You may reach out to us as well at www.imagingspectrum.com
Can dx100 print 210 x 297mm ( 8.3 in x 11.7 in ) paper
Do you know the print speed?
@ChrisDawn Yes the video has a graphic displayed at 2:35. It shows the speeds the different modes. Those modes at Speed, Quality, and High Quality. The chart breaks down Light Garment, Dark Garment, and DTF prints for each mode. For any addition question please feel free to contact us at www.imagingspectrum.com
Thank you so much!!
What's the largest image it can print? I love this idea.
@user-kf7vf5bf4z the largest platen is 10x12 for a DTG print. If you are doing multiple imaging on a shirt could do DTF and press them all at one time if you have a large heat press.
Hi, thanks for the video. I'm printing sublimation and as we know we print mirror, but I want the file name to appear in the right format and not mirror like. How can we fix this;
@Kyriakos-qx8ff Do you mean that you are printing a file name on the transfer paper? If the print is all one graphic than the software will mirror the whole graphic. You would have to make the file name a different graphic and add it in well nesting the jobs but unmirror it. If this is not what you are talking about than please provide an imaging of what you are talking about.
Are you printing the DTF sheet on the same DTG machine???
@thekopyshop7350 Yes we are printing on Direct To Film on the Epson SureColor F2100! You do have to enable the settings in order to do this. For more information please take a look at our CZcams page and our website. We have settings and other information on both.

Hello, I need your help with something. Should I prefer commercial DTG or DTF printing for better quality and longer use?

What is the main differences with canon tx 4100 version?
@saeedabdulwahid3830 two of the biggest differences between the printers are the Pro 4100 has a 12 ink system as the TX 4100 only has 5 inks. The second one is that the Pro 4100 has has an input tray for sheets. For any other question please reach out to us at www.imagingspectrum.com
Engineering fail: that's the reason NOT to buy a RX1. Have used other DNPs at countless locations over the years, never removed paper and ribbon during transport 😄
All dyesub manufacturers have always said to remove media to prevent internal damage to the printer. It is not an engineering fail. imagingspectrum.com/blog/2018/05/dont-wreck-your-printer-when-transporting-to-events/
@ImagingSpectrum I have more than 10 dyesubs, mostly DNPs, some in use going back 15+ years, with countless transports with in-place media. None mention removing the media while transporting in their manuals and none have this stupid foam insert and the ridiculous "floating" print head which makes it unnecessarily sensitive. Say what you want, I'll def never get an RX1. The only thing I DO before transport is empty the cuttings tray, these can spill and jam the printer mechanism, sometimes in an inaccessible area making a tech stop necessary.
can it print on 100% linen?
@annmcguirestudio2241 You can print on it because it is a woven textile material. You will have to run a test print or two on an untreated material that you have not printed on before and this is just to be cautious when using a new media in your printer. Along with keeping an eye on it well curing the print.
that is amazing! is there a way to see samples of prints on linen? @@ImagingSpectrum
Don't buy this printer. I bought 3 of them and have had non-stop jamming problems.
Nice, and what about DS620?
The 620 printer does not have the foam pad, but does need the media removed. imagingspectrum.com/blog/2018/05/dont-wreck-your-printer-when-transporting-to-events/
