Ripping the Ozone Rapido3 13m with my two homies! Slight tail wind on launch made for a fast and super fun lap! This is such a “old reliable” flight in the wasatch but still gets me frothed every time!!!

Took the skis and my Rapido3 11m up Cherry canyon today for my 2nd attempt at speedriding this local flight. (this spot is usually foot launched but this year there’s *almost* enough snow to stay on the ground all the way down!)

Very scary moment, I thought my friend was messed up. He got very lucky falling down the rock ledges, he wasn’t hurt and was able to relaunch and fly down safely. I make an emergency landing (green Rapido3) mid mountain to help friend who snagged wingtip and crashed (Swing Mirage). Wasatch Mountains, Utah

@@karanjohnson5562 I've no doubts about it. I am waiting for a new wing. Ozone R3 15sqm which I mostly will use for soaring next to the other wings. I love to soar. 90% of all the flights is soaring.

Hey Chris! As of now I’m staying out here in Draper for a while, logged over 15 hours of soaring my 12m and 13m wings already and with more snow on the way I should be getting into some real backcountry speedriding soon! I’m sure I will be back in humboldt some day :)

YES BRO! You are going to absolutely *love* that wing. Coming from the 14 Fazer you will notice such a dramatic difference in performance. It’s going to be way more sensitive in all ways, way less weight shift required to turn and a longer recovery arc. But it’s way more intuitive of a wing so you will become more in tune with it.
@@karanjohnson5562 I hope I don't get overwhelmed. But to be honest.... I am going to use it mostly for high wind soaring than for speedflying in the mountains. But I am very curious how it will fly. 🤩
@@wimperelly as long as you kite it some first before you fly it you’ll be fine. Figure out it’s stall point and reactivity on the ground and then take it for a rip. You’ll love the R3, it’s probably my favorite wing I’ve flown. Such a versatile wing.

Yewww!!! This flight is called “the Y” in Provo, Utah. It’s a 40 minute hike for a 1.5 minute flight but so worth it

Cloud surfing that close to the ground! Didn’t expect that to happen! I was watching the clouds form from launch and they were rising straight up, figured if I flew into them I would go up too, didn’t realize it would be so abrupt! Lots of tippy collapses!

Yes it was magical that wing has so much less drag than the gracchio. Unsheathed lines are awesome! The cell openings are way smaller than the gracchio too. The green wing and red lines are the watermelon colors too haha.
