Yes.. Helmets, and good quality ones, are very important. In the 90s I was more of an avid Mtn Bike Trail rider, and one morning the trail had downed tree limbs we were hopping over and one sent me flying head first into trees and when I got up my temple side of my helmet was smashed in and 100% protected me from what could have been a very bad accident. To this day I still have it hanging in my garage on display as a reminder to be safe(r) Great review

Overall it was a good bike, but to be honest it is not a comfortable bike. You have to hunch over because the Handel bar stem is very short. They tell me you can replace it but because of fluid it is not a simple task. If it had some shock absorbing in the stem and seat bar it would be a great bike.

Anyone know if there are more settings in the display?

I just got mine 1 weeks or so ago. Mine looks way more technical with the NFC display… they for sure upgraded there buttons etc on there stuff. Weird they don’t show that

Nice review! I just have two question... how easy is it to repair a tyre puncture on it, and how is the customer support from engwe? I am confused between the y600 and the s6 at the moment. I have no experience with e-scooters. i am looking to buy one and this one seems convincing. The s6 has tubeless tyres which sounds better but the y600 seems to be better and cheaper overall. I wish they would give a tubeless option for the y600.

I have the same bike. I got it to help me on hills. I recently rode it in the NYC 5 Boro Bike Tour. The 5 BBT is 40 miles, and just when I need the bike to get me over the Verrazano Bridge, it died at 35 miles. But I was still able to ride the additional mile to the end and then home without any difficulty. A portable charger would have been nice to have. Next year, I will be more mindful to not use level 5 unless Im going up a hill. It just got fun to me to be zipping along at a fast pace and not cramp up like I have in recent years. This was my 15th year doing this ride and my best.
