This is outstandingly great footage of the legendary Rollers in action. The filming is clear and audio is great too. Some nice individual shots of the stars showing their expertise and enjoyment of this song, which is surely their most remembered and enduring record. I can't like the scattering of fans across the front --- they certainly don't rival the effervescent Shang -A- Lang crowd, but half their luck to be sitting so close to the band!!

I’m not ashamed to say that I love this song. It reminds me of my young childhood in Kilmarnock. I thought Scotland was the most important country in the world. Roller mania, tartan mania. My father was always telling me stories of Bruce and Wallace. 🏴

I didn't like them at the timw but this is 2.32 minutes of pure bubblegum pop, classic.
'Bye Bye Baby' is an old 'Four Seasons' cover, but what a cover! A spoken intro has the song teetering on the edge of indecision. Then we're into the archetypal Roller stomp, its beat compelling you to stand on a chair and wave a tartan scarf in the air.
In Japan, people don't say ''sayonara'', they say ''bye bye". All because of this great song lol

RIP Les ....You and the Bay City Rollers brought us a time of fun....... and love of music when we had little else to raise our spirits on a Friday and Saturday night. The local disco was full of tartan and when a Bay City Roller song came on the whole place went mad. It was brilliant. Thank so much for the memories things were so different then.
