I love my Warriors for everyday life and my Trailsstars for running. I'm looking for hiking sandals with a bit more cushion, as my feet often get sore after long hikes in Warriors. Can't decide between Alphas and Ibex. Are the Ibex light weight, too? I dislike the feeling of bricks on the feet, had this issue with another brand (not Shammas) I once tried and resaled directly.

I’ve been wrestling with my new sandals, and even after watching this video cannot get my straps to adjust. Are you supposed to remove the anchors to make adjustments? In the video, you pry out the anchor but then replace it before adjustments. I’m afraid to ruin my new shoes…

thats weird. i wear my TrailStar pair about a month and a half and one of the sole anchors is already broken, while the foot sole is fine, almost as new... And because im in the uk, i should pay 16gbp for delivery of 1gbp item, that's a shame =( I like my sandals and feel, but it would be really great to get a pack of spare anchors right in the new box of sandals.

This video is very helpful. Thank you! My issue, mainly on the insole post, is my sole pair needle nose pliers, which are heavy-duty & thicker at the tip. Otherwise, it's not hard.

Whatever I do, I cannot get them right. The sandals keep rotating outwards and my big toes keep getting off the sandals (to the middle) at which point they become to painful to walk and I have to stop to twist my foot back on them. They are UNUSABLE to me at the moment and close to ending up in the garbage bin. Been tinkering for weeks without result.

I'm more than happy to pay a premium for something of highest quality designed and manufactured here in the USA. made in USA that makes them special in 2024

I just got my Trail Stars Maximus. I was tightening the laces when I realized I can put my pointer finger between the end of my longest toe and the end of the sole. I'm worried this might be a tripping hazard but these are my first barefoot sandals that aren't diy so I don't know? Can you help? I don't know if I have time to do an exchange before the trip I bought them for and I don't know what to do!

the buckle section makes no sense. is the indented part toward the toe or the heel. I watched it 6 times i still dont get it

I’ve got the mountain goats, but I never managed to get them adjusted in a way that my big toe doesn’t slip off over or get near the inside edge of the sandal. So yes, adjustability is great, but it would be even greater to get directions _how_ to adjust them in which scenario.

My question and I might put it in on your website is I really like that strapping system because I seems like my foot just does better with the continuous strap when I had that sandal could we use that like the maximus could use the same lacing system on the maximus would that work andto make those is a little bit more economical also

Josh, I’m going over these videos again. I’m trying to been working on things I’ve been working on this is with the head bobbing on the trail. I figure I feel I’ve learned a lot and I’m much more steady but I test myself on the treadmill. I put a mirror up there and I can see my head bobbing all over the place now that’s getting better but on the treadmill that I seem to be bouncing more, it could be part of the treadmill. I don’t know, any other techniques to really leveling out in you’ve been doing this for a while

Looking far away... but when you run in sandals (most in nature) you need to be looking at the floor to be aware of the stones. Not really fitting there... (I am a sandals user, just not ready to run more than 1km with them yet)

0:32 I don't have a poster setting on my printer. Here's an idea. I used an editing app. Custom set the page size on the app to legal size, 8.5 x 14 (not 11). I then copied a ruler from Google images. I fit the ruler plus an extra 2 inches from bottom to top on the editor page. It has to measure 14 inches from top to bottom. I inserted the template I downloaded from the Shamma sole size and use the little ruler it comes with and made sure it matched the 14 in ruler I made. That's it. Print using the legal setting, not the letter setting. Note: I found that i needed to save the image to an image or JPEG file and not PDF file. After you print it, check the ruler on the image to a real ruler or tape measure just to confirm.

Hello Josh how you doing man ? I want to Thank you so much for making this Numa sandals man. I have the Black Leather one & i just love wearing them all day everyday. I just can't take them off my feet 🦶. I am a barefooted 👣 flip-flops 🩴& sandals guy . I can't wear shoes , socks , or boots because I have big very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 with very very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across. Because footwear is made for toes that are at a 45° Degrees angle & my toes are Evenly straight across my 4/5 toes get crushed & hurt my feet & toes & with your sandals being opened toes my toes are very very comfortable on the sandals Even though my lil toe hangs off the footbed of the sandals but that is with all of my sandals & Flip flops 🩴 i wear not just your. If i didn't have what they call square toes my toes would fit Perfect On your sandals. I love how you make your sandals with a wide toes box on the sandals for people like me who have very wide feet 🦶. I have a buddy of mine who has a size 16 foot. You should take your size up to a 16 for guy with a size 15 / 16 foot cuz my buddy would like to get a pair but you don't go up that size. Thanks you so much for making a great sandals man. I love wearing my cruzers & my Numa Chargers sandals man. Keep on making great sandals man cuz i am a huge huge fan of your sandals.

The Super Goat was my first pair of sandals in transitioning to barefoot shoes. That was 2022. I loved them and even wore them with toe socks in late autumn. Now I need a much thinner sole (yay!) and deciding between the Super Browns & Warrior Elite. While I love the grippiness of the Warrior outer sole, I think the Super line strapping system works really well for me, with a power strap. Thank you for the informational & instructional videos and your high quality sandals.

You are so correct, if not adjusted they do not work "right: I've had the warriors for about a month and could never get the left foot comfortable until I received my new pair of old browns and the lacing video for that led me to here. Thanks for this and the previous video for adjusting the elite lacing.

Why don't yall change the color of the strap instead. I feel like matching th sole color with he strap and bringing different colors would make the sandal more attractive like #pyoppfledge sandals from Indonesia ,hell they even have them in olive green.

Ooh, those look great for everyday wear, me likey. That elastic wouldn't be good for performance, especially any sideways motion, like going down hill or something, but you've got so many other designs that fit that bill. Happy Holidays Shamma Fam!!!!
