Bought a new Eastman AC 522 CE GB 3/11/24 . I have tried many different instruments over the last few yrs with only finding one all mahogany Taylor that i really liked , but it did not have a arm bevel which the Eastman does and is very important to me because i have arthritis in my hands and arms , well the arm bevel fit the bill perfectly .The price , choice of wood , play ability and sound quality of this instrument is unbelievable ... I tip my hat to all of the hard working Craftsman at Eastman.
I can’t say about too much about Eastman, but what I can’t say is I just purchased my first Eastman. Let me tell you I’d recommend it to anybody. One of the finest build guitars I’ve ever played and sound amazing.
No thanks! I’d rather support American craftsmanship than give anything else to the Chinese to end up making quickly and cheaply as possible! Also there’s such a thing called resale value. An American Martin will always be worth something and it’s almost guaranteed to increase, these things you buy today will be worthless in five years at most!

This demo needs to be about 5 minutes longer at least, there’s a lot more offered by the player and the guitar.

I absolutely love my Eastman 810ce Archtop (I have the previous model, with floating pickup). A superb guitar !

Don't know where you are located, but they have LOADS of dealers in USA. It's easy to find on the Eastman Guitars website.

There’s no argument. Eastman runs with the big dogs. Especially after they became majority shareholders of Bourgeois. They’re taking their ideas and using them. Of course they’re building a superior guitar cheaper.

I have an E6SS-TC and can't believe how nicely made it is, the Ebony fretboard is so smooth down the edges and the fret ends are perfect, no snags when playing at all, it's so rich and balanced and rings like a bell, it's a real pleasure to own.
I own an Eastman E6SS-TC and can honestly say it's beautifully crafted, sounds and plays superbly, the best guitar I could buy after trying over 30 different guitars from many brands over a month.

I really want an Eastman guitar....I get tired of everyone bashing the Chinese because they are eating America's lunch when it comes to manufacturing high quality goods. I would put a Premium Eastman up against a Martin any day.
I don't know about Martin . But I would put them up against Taylor. Taylor is way Overpriced . Ever get ahold of a Taylor and the strings are too close to the body ? Do you know why that is ? Because when they are setting the neck angle and the straight edge sets a little too low to the bridge , 😮they just sand down the bridge ... Its a freaking bolt on neck and they are too lazy to unbolt it and put the right shim in place... Bolt on necks just suck for tone . Mainly because the steel fasteners and the shims absorb some of the vibrations that transfer to the top This doesn't matter with a solid body electric but it does on an accoustic. By the way Both Martin and Taylor's lower priced 3/4 and parlors sound like tin trash can lids.. because they have plywood tops . But they sure charge a lot because of the name.

@@LongTrout yeah . I went looking for a 3/4 travel guitar.. when to the big local music shop . I had a baby Taylor, a Martin Jr and a Luna .. That cheap Luna had a spruce top and sounded like a full size 000 .. it also had a cheap Fishman pickup in it that sounded decent. The baby Taylor you couldn't make half the chords because the neck was so small and the thing sounded like metal almost. The Martin had a decent neck but same thing on the tone . I had all 3 sitting beside me in the sound room there .. The Luna sounds so good I have actually used it to a couple of venues while I was resetting the neck on my Martin DM . I do luthier work so I am quite aware of some of the "sneaky" things they get away with. A luthier always knows . Seems like about 70% of the time there's something that was done wrong at the factory. That bridge thing I told you about Taylor is quite common
