Hii
As a previous Li150 II and GT200 rider I'd happily ride either of these with pride.
I’ve got to get one of these what a stunning scooter
Namaimathu gi marol lo Kari
Brilliant!
Goste das lambreta
Very beautiful vehicles. May I please ask you the name of the color combination of your Royal Alloy? Is it the Burgundy Red or Odyssey Red?
Hi, it's Burgundy
colour is Red 3r3 code of TOYOTA
I just bought a new RA300 TG it is brilliant to ride and handles incredible, I love the old Lammys but just couldn’t put up with the potential breakdowns which is part of the fun apparently.
Oh god the first one sounds a million times better the 2nd one sounds like theres a bag of spanners rattling about in the engine! You wanna get that looked at! 😂🤣💀
Don’t turn camera during filming
I see many Lambretta owners are now taking an RA as their second scooter, some even swapping. You can't compare the two in terms of history and mechanics but you can certainly love both and enjoy them. I just don't understand why Piaggio and Lambretta (whoever owns the brand now) didn't make an auto PX or a classic bodied auto GP, LI or SX or whatever. Crazy. Royal Alloys are flying off the shelf.
How is it going with the TG? Do you recommend this beauty?
I think Keeway Victoria is a more handsome looking scooter, a more viable option from comfort and Price Stand point czcams.com/video/FpqHu1WIlO8a/video.html
the lambretta is absolutely gorgeous. i like the royal alloy, but not a patch on the lammy.
To plan d-shape right mate candy apple red mate no good pace
The older scooter is much prettier (apart from the ugly seat).
That S2 is stunning 😍
I know which one I won’t.
This comparison only confuses me more. I WANT BOTH !!!
Modern retros are very much the way ahead. Ducati scramblers, BMW cafe racers etc. This looks good and certainly by the number of roadside blown top end classic scooters I've seen over the years should be a welcome change for the rider. They're not a replacement but a modern interpretation.
Hello John. Where did you get the leg shield glovebox for the series 2 please?
Don't understand this paranoia about new scooters with old scooter styling. They are fab. The old scooters are interesting historical machines, but unless you are a good mechanic impractical for everyday use. The joy of scootering is RIDING them as a daily ride and weekend runs. The old ones are good for once or twice a year rallies only.
Pair of beautiful machines.. 👍🏼
Stunning series 2.
brilliant looking scooter i may well get the grey version ,ive owned a scomadi which ley me down many times but royal alloy really are making a ver well built scooter will still have my px in the stable
Px for this are like compareing Aston Martin gb7 with fiesta .
John how the ride of the TG now ? How is it compared to the Series 2? Both looks great.
ones a lambretta the others a heap of crap
Don't knock it till you try it Its a fabulous ride
Beautiful 🏴🇬🇧
Hi John, can you describe the engine difference between the two? (Please)..
The Lambretta is a 150cc (or maybe 125... can’t make it out properly on my small screen🙄), 2 stroke, air cooled, manual geared scooter, whilst the Royal Alloy TG 300, is a 278cc continuously variable transmission (CVT), liquid cooled automatic, which is based on an older generation Vespa GTS 300cc engine. The Lambretta controls on the handlebars consist of a throttle and front brake lever on the right hand side and a clutch lever with integral twist grip gear lever on the left hand side , plus, a rear brake pedal on the right hand side of the runner boards. The R.A. ‘s handle bar levers are both brake levers , and again, the throttle is on the right hand side.... no gears or clutch to worry about, just twist and go! Both are also metal bodied, except the R.A’s mudguard and toolbox are plastic. Hope this helps. 🙂
@@ossian1937 so basically chalk and cheese
@@kevindarkstar Aye , pretty much , although the Royal Alloy seems decent enough if you want the vintage look with modern performance and reliability. There’s all sorts of engine , performance and braking modifications available for vintage Lambrettas these days, but you’re talking about a pretty serious investment and it’s generally something for the committed Lambretta cognoscenti. 🙂
You have made one of the most beautiful restorations I have seen. This new piece if shit just turns me off. If it were a manual, then it might not be so dreadful.
If the legshields were wider on the TG, the mudguard would more in proportion I think.
Both Gorgeous in their own way ✌️
TG has the looks and the power... just not the smell and breakdowns 😂😂
The series 2 wins hands down
