Problem: Congress routinely has (a) below 15% approval rating, (b) greater than 90% incumbency retention, or (c) all of the above. The answer is (c). Like it or not, it is OUR fault. *WE* are the ones that keep voting in the same people, fulfilling the very definition of insanity. We all know congress is filled with power-hungry corruption, but yet those people continually get re-elected. And the reason is clear: Because we, the people say congress sucks so much, but also say, "but... not *MY* representatives. They're the few good ones. It's everyone else that is corrupt. Guess what? We can't all be correct. In fact, the statistics are inarguable; most of us are wrong, sending the wrong people to D.C. over and over again But, we don't admit it. Facts are facts, and the fact is the first person to blame is staring at you in the mirror every morning. This is drug addiction without the drugs. We did this; we're doing this, and we'll keep doing it until we admit the real problem. Stop thinking you rep is a good one; odds are heavily stacked that you're wrong.

I am so glad Tulsi Gabbart brings up the reading of the Constitution on Constitution Day. She mentioned that democrats don't attend because they think this is a right-wing conservative thing. But, many democrats are socialist leaning towards Marxist ideology and believe the Constitution is a living document that can change over time as culture changes. They could not be more wrong. People need to know our history better if we really want to remain a Constitutional Republic.
