Why I prefer Cam Ranh Beach over Nha Trang: Tour & Review of Alma Resort
I booked Alma Resort on Agoda, you can go to this link to check out rates and book your stay. bit.ly/4bAUsE8
Cam Ranh is one of my favorite beach destinations in Vietnam. It’s located in south central Vietnam and is a 45-minute flight from Ho Chi Minh City.
Though it’s a farther out than Nha Trang, Cam Ranh has a lot more resorts with a beachfront and nicer beaches and a cleaner ocean. Nha Trang is more of a hotel destination whereas Cam Ranh is a resort destination.
I stayed at the Alma Resort which was only a 10 minute drive from the airport. I stayed here 3 nights and indulged myself in their swimming pools and the many dining outlets they have. I did allocate one day to go into Nha Trang city for the mud bath and try some streetfood. The resort does not have a shuttle bus to and from Nha Trang city but you can take a taxi for about 250k or a bus.

Best Hotel to Stay in Bangkok. Comparing Mercure vs Ibis Hotel Sukhumvit Soi 24 🇹🇭
zhlédnutí 10KPřed 2 měsíci
There are A LOT of hotels in Bangkok with a wide range of prices. It can be hard to choose. I recommend you decide on a location first, then narrow it down to your budget. I go to Bangkok often and regularly stay in the Sukhumvit Soi 24 area because it's near the BTS Phrom Phong station. I've stayed at both the Mercure and Ibis Sukhumvit Soi 24. The Mercure is a 4-star hotel and the Ibis is a b...

Thanks for the video. I recently stayed in Meritel Hanoi and it was a very nice experience. A mention for the staff: kind, professional and always helpful.
Thanks for watching and sharing your hotel experience in Hanoi. I'm sure other viewers will find this information useful!
Another waste-of-time infomercial. Thumbs down
Vietnam could be more enjoyable if the people didn’t throw garbage everywhere and the food vendors practiced safety and hygiene.

Thank you for this highly informative video. We will be going in November with my mother who is a senior. She wants to see the Lake and St. Joseph’s. Are most sites accessible from the 5 hotels you recommended?
Hi - thanks for watching! The hotels I mentioned are in the Old Quarter so it is in walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake and St Joseph's Cathedral. November should be a pleasant time to be in Hanoi - enjoy your visit!
Hi there, what are your thoughts on the salute premium hotel and spa ? It's a fairly new hotel.
Hi - the hotel is in the Old Quarter but on the edge so not as central as others. I haven't stayed here but based on my experience with new hotels - there tends to be inconsistencies with service so just be prepared for that. The pictures are not real but 3D drawings so not sure how it looks in real life. Like all tube buildings - there will be rooms with no windows so if that's important to you, make sure to book a room with windows. Though rooms without windows tend to be cheaper. Enjoy your visit to Hanoi!
Hi how about bat dan street? It is a good location?
It's in the Old Quarter so should be ok for walking around. But also depends on what you're planning to do.
Nice video 🙏
Thanks for watching!
Have stayed at both these hotels and both are good but prefer the Mercure. The outside streets are not to everyone's taste, so be warned, did not bother us tho.
Thanks for watching. The streets in Bangkok can be a crazy. Since this is a business area - it's a little better in terms of cleanliness and less girly bars like in Nana area.
Hi there!! In your video, you never mentioned about noise. Is it noisy to stay in the Old Quarter at night? Do you have any suggestions about private tour guides?
Surprisingly noise is not a big issue but also depends on if your room is a streetview and windows are double paned. For the most part, I did not have any issues with noise maybe that’s why I didn’t mention it! For private tour guides - you may want to contact a local tour company or search on Facebook. Enjoy your visit to Hanoi!
noise is always a big issue
Very helpful! Thanks for the info ❤
Glad it was helpful!
Hi! Does the hotels have heater? Im planning to go in the winter season
Most hotels have heaters which is basically using the AC unit but turning it on hot instead of cool. I don't know about the budget hostels though.
How much one dubble room plz
Please go to the link in the description and you can check room rates.
Very nice!
Hello, I'll be traveling alone. Would there be any budget hotels that are not in alleyways?
Hi - budget hotels (below $20/night) tend to be in alleyways because the rent is lower so that’s why rooms are cheaper.
Thanks for this information. I had to make plans to visit Bangkok with only two weeks. I usually plan months in advance. Anyway, I knew nothing. So, I decided to splurge and stayed at Millennium Hotel next to Icon Siam. We used water ferries, tuk tuk and taxi. I knew enough about negotiating for tuk tuk and taxi. As a complete newbie, I was happy we stayed where we did. But if I get back there, I would definitely look into your recommendations.
I’m sure it was an amazing stay at the Millennium! Looking for hotels in Bangkok can be overwhelming - so many choices! If you’re looking for value, quality and location then yeah you should look into Mercure or Ibis!
