@@XaveLai most current locomotives have air conditioning and heaters.. now I’m not sure they use them or if they work lol

@@XaveLai most modern train engineers have to wear safety boots.. long pants and long shirts.. some wear high viz vests or jackets.. but some don't require all that as long as they have safety boots and long pants.. they don't have to wear a designated suit or anything like that.. its not like the old steam days..

@@southcarolinagrizfan1594 perfect the feed called “Lynn’s Gap” on broadcastify has the best reach south.. if anything is headed north you will get an hour or more in advance if you hear one hitting the detectors in Marion.. milepost going north are 225..215..205.. all heading thru Marion and North Cove.. milepost 194 is at camp two off peppers creek road that’s just below the Blue Ridge Parkway so 40 mins or more before it hits Spruce Pine.. good luck hope you get to see some of the best crews on CSX..

awesome.. i hope they continue to restore old steam locomotives so they have a whole fleet.. then they should do a railfan day and have them all running together.. that would be so cool..

@@BlueRidgeDaveas cool as that would be, they already have their hands full with just the two they have running already. They could restore 71, but that would take several years and millions of dollars.

the real actors back in that time yeah.. they didn't have any laws to protect the actors like the do now.. times have changed for the better..
