Serious question: what’s the point of improving mental and physical health in this horrible world? To live another day, incredibly alone after losing loved ones? To go to a job that you worked so hard in college for that is mundane and no longer satisfying? Or is it to live another day witnessing cruel behaviors of how humans treat each other? Why is it so horrible if someone wants to go to sleep and never wake up. I live in USA, where I think medically assisted end of life procedure shouldn’t only be for those who are diagnosed with terminal illnesses. It’s awful when the world is so cruel to a person and society think they’re crazy because they want to leave this world behind. If someone is mentally done with this world, then why can’t they leave it peacefully and on their own time? If healthcare matters, people should have a right to call it quits. We are gaslit into thinking we are crazy when society doesn’t give a rats ass about you. It’s a terrible thing to deal with, especially when someone has no friends or relatives.
