Yes, many people can lay down and sleep in them, which make them good for exercising. I put my hair up in a Sport to sleep in, but I prefer to put it on the top of my head so that I am not directly laying on it.

Pre-menopausal unpredictableness... you got a point there. 🤔 Is there a "wet bag" for the used ones, if you are out and about and need to change pads? 😊 I used cloth diapers (pocket diapers) for my (now teenage) children, so I know a bit about such things. 😉
I believe that floral print bag is supposed to hold one new and one used pad. Each pocket has one side that is waterproof, but both sides are not, so I don't think I'd trust using that for used ones unless you put it in a plastic bag first, before putting in the pouch.
