After viewing this Video it's make one who is middled age or beyond it think, 'Ommm? No more Scooping/Cutting etc.,' of what is immanent! It's a choice people! A choice when one's end is imminent! Nobody wants to die no lie but what if? If there is nothing more can be done for a poor soul who's just about, 'obviously,' lived out their lives? Check it out people! I look at it like a DNR a/k/a Do Note Restate shit! My worry is NOT $spending$ as much money I can get my hands on that's my only worry! To spend every last god-dam-dime I got in my reach! That's my worry but outside of that! I don't really have one! Now I don't know about being refused this option and/or my family pulling a move on me knowing there is nothing more can be done for me but on the same note letting me just suffer and/or just melt away? What to do if you are an alcoholic and addict in recovery and dont want to take all these additive substances?

Well simple I guess but when someone is in alot of pain and I as family caregiver have to stay awake 24/7 to administer morphine once a hour. I am wearing myself down trying to keep up. Hospice took my grandmother off the hospital meds that were every 4-6 hours. At least with that, I could catch a few mins of rest in-between caregiving.

Im in hospice now. This video made me want to commit suicide, and, thanks to hospice i have all the drugs I need to do just that. Does anyone see this as a problem?

Funny I clicked on this and live in MD ,I want to be a Thanatologist ,I def have a DNR to protect me and my rights from my Evil family and overall people that did not want the best for me or my life, my Mom died when I was 17 she was 35 from Breast Cancer so I am very familiar with Hospice and wanted to protect myself in advance, I would def rather spare the hassle of trying to hold on to a life just to lose it , I know that’s Morbid but Death is something I will never fear it’s kind of like freedom from the Evils of this world .

if only this applied to all of us that have chronic pain thats not gonna kill us. its ok to make us suffer because our illness doesnt result in death. even though theres no cure or remission. pain meds can help us manage the pain effectively and have minimal side effects we are denied this treatment because they believe we are all gonna get addicted. .theres little evidence of that but propaganda trumps scientific facts. i guess we are better off dying so finally we can stop suffering. but also alot of this stuff hes teaching is not factual at all. pin sized pupils is not a sign of overdose at all.the pain scale is a ridiculous tool and pain meds do not effect every person the same.and should not be a standard protocol
