    I’m not proud to say it, I got in real deep with Vicodin and Percocet in 2000, lasted 13 years. I did have legitimate script for it,also klonopin, Ativan, llyrica. In 2006 I got prescribed 100 mg fentanyl patches,medicine for 3 days. Never used a needle. I quit after I lost insurance.Way too expensive. Some cravings and side effects lasted a year. I’ve used gaba for 4 years,900mg daily,but I usually am out after 3 weeks. So I’ve gone thru some type withdrawal once a month for 4 years. It’s not fun,usually it’s the insomnia gets me worse.

Well I had to see a new doctor and they were taking me off Suboxone and I kept telling them and help my pain and that doctor said no it does not help pain. It’s not for pain, so I got all supplicate and down to 25 mg and all my old pain problems back pain carpal tunnel pain has all come back worse than ever so now I don’t know if I should come off the supplicate because I don’t wanna start taking pain pills again besides no one will give you any

I smoked meth for so long i can remember when TVs couldnt spy on you.....back before people spied on each other with drones all the time. For me it was a comforting warm feeling that took away my pain and allowed me to function better. I will never feel that kind of euphoria ever again mainly because the suboxone blocks it and it’s probably for the best since I became out of control with the constant need for higher doses of the Percocet.

    How do we help a family member that we believe is going through cannabis induced psychosis? My brother is 19 about to be 20 and I believe he’s going through this. We’ve took him to several ERs, the one he just seen finally got him a psych evaluation but the psychiatrist said she doesn’t believe he should be in a psych ward but he’s going through so many episodes at home. He quit 8 days ago but it seems to just getting worse. Our family history has no mental health disorders as well.

    120 grams worth of kratom a day by doing up to 6 bottles of Feel Free. Super gnarly . On day 3 , doing as much healing as possible as i endure the fucking acute withdrawals , good grief. Try everything in your power to somehow not have the insomnia or lessen it in any way you can, especially if you have to work hard everyday. Exhaust yourself with exercise , eat healthy, megadose vitamin c , take magnesium , cbd , melatonin, valerian tincture , dlpa is really good , etc. Lots out there. Smoke joints, bong or eat weed butter for sleep. For me personally , time in the sun , swimming and surfing changes my chemistry and makes me forget , cold water plunges too. Those are very healing for the system. For the kratom users , remind yourself that youre not in the hell that the opiate addicts are in , or worse heroin or fentanyl and shit like that. Everything should be ok after a month of diligent recovery.

    Gabapentin is pretty miraculous for PAWS in AUD treatment, and has by far the lowest abuse potential of any anxiolytic... no euphoric effects and pretty much just puts one to sleep if they take too much. It's also very self-limiting due to rapid tolerance acquisition and rapidly diminished bioavailability at doses over 1000-1500mg. I would not want to be in this guy's care if I needed treatment. He seems like he's very stuck in outdated thinking and modes of treatment with a reflexive, irrational skepticism towards anything new that's come along regardless of the efficacy or risk profile, just because it runs against what he learned in school however long ago...

    I was hooked on hydrocodone. At my worst i was taking about 15 to 20 10mg pills a day and led me to getting them on the streets. After almost losing everytbing, I finally broke down and got put on suboxone. This helped me get off pain pills, but I was then hooked on the suboxone. I finally got tired of living that life after being an opiate addict for about 23 years(I'm 41) and quit the suboxone cold turkey. Told myself if I could make it through the suboxone withdrawals I was done for good. It took about a month but I dang sure did it! I'm finally free from opiates for the first time since I was 17 or 18yrs old. I still feel like my brain is trying to get used to it but my body finally feels like it's functioning normally on its on without the help of opiates that I used to depend on just to be able to function. I'm only about 2 months clean and sober but I can guarantee 💯 percent the hell I went through from my addiction, I will never touch another opiate for as long as I live. I was on the verge of suicide for awhile and totally depressed 24/7. I thank God for giving me the power to lay it down on my own. Trust me, if I can do it, anyone can. I was one of the hardest and most miserable times of my life getting through the withdrawals, but I did it!

    Forget Prozac, Lexapro, etc. For me there was no better anxiolytic/ anti depressant on the planet. For back pain in the early 2000’s, I was prescribed 120 40mg of OxyContin, 90 10mg of Percocet for “breakthrough pain”, and 90 1mg of Xanax. I don’t care who you are, this would get anyone into some kind of trouble. I don’t think you would get this if you were in hospice now. I don’t blame anyone in particular. It was fairly common back then.

  • @raptorking03bryant64

    Im 4 days off suboxone and man im hurting bad 👎 i just wanna know how long this withdrawal will last bc i only took 2 months worth of suboxone i feel like im dying my last dose was monday and its now friday

    • @billeffingmurray1224
      @billeffingmurray1224 Před dnem

      Well, not to make you feel worse, but unfortunately suboxone withdrawal tends to wear off slower (as well as onset slower) than the normal opioid withdrawal timeline because buprenorephrine (suboxone) binds to the opioid receptors much stronger than normal opiates. In fact, if suboxone weren't a partial agonist it would be too strong to take, period. Some would argue it would be more dangerous than fentanyl if it were a full agonist. So to answer your question, everyone is different based on numerous different factors...but generally...you're probably looking at around 8 days of suboxone withdrawal before experiencing noticeable relief from 𝑝ℎ𝑦𝑠𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑙 symptoms (that's 8 days once full suboxone withdrawal has set in which Is usually 2 to 4 days after being off of it). Psychological effects could last 2 to 3 weeks.

    Important to also remember that some people just became dependent on the medication and then got cut off!!! I know people who took there medication exactly as prescribed and never did anything else but what a broken healthcare system told them to do or should I of said sick care instead of healthcare. They kept said people on the medication for years and then just dropped them one day after years of prescribing narcotics. No weaning off system for patient’s or referrals. Just the boot. What do you think most of these dependent patients did after that?
