I intend to create a series of videos in which I show how I paint miniatures, I have already published one on my channel, but I intend to make others, as soon as I have time I will publish other video tutorials

Thanks for all the advice, I'm very happy that you like my videos. I'll try to look at this type of material to fill the structures. I currently built a typical French/German house with plywood. So I am experimenting to build houses from scratch, I will subsequently include them in different plastic. Thanks for the like!

@@edoart3081 Thin plywood was the go-to material for making diorama buildings back-in-the-day since a render of spackle was all that was needed to replicate a typical, European / Mediterranean Stucco finish. Shep Paine has detailed instructions for doing this in his 1980 book, "How to Build Dioramas." But after the turn of the century, many modelers began using XPS foam, embossed with wood or stone detail and sealed with Mod-Podge prior to painting to make buildings, after the method used by wargamers, to make terrain. There are plenty of videos on this site. I also have a book published by Games Workshop titled, "How to Make Wargames Terrain," that shows a lot of useful tips. I think this one is available online as a PDF, too. As always, Happy Modeling!

@@modelermark172 thanks for the advice. Yes, I have seen that XPS foam is more versatile than wood or other materials. For now I have experimented with plywood, an excellent result came out but I intend to try XPS foam, I think it is a little easier to use, also for making certain details that are a little difficult to do with plywood (like a piece of peeling plaster with exposed bricks underneath and cracks in the plaster). I was thinking of using plywood to create the roof and I create the walls with XPS foam

Yes, however, every element or miniature that I show in video I will include in all my future dioramas. creating houses from scratch is a good option that I have considered, since I don't find many of them. Creating it myself will be very nice in terms of construction from scratch and imagination in construction, when I have experimented and got the hang of building the houses with the right materials and measurements, I will show how I build them, it is an excellent idea of content. That sounds good - but consider this: You may want to think twice before 'scrapping and salvaging' your earlier work. I did that back in the day, and now I regret not having ANY examples of my earliest diorama work to compare to my latest efforts. Thanks for sharing, and Happy Modeling!

Thanks for these other suggestions, I'm planning another Diorama that maybe I'll publish around Christmas, so also to celebrate my first year on CZcams, but since I've already finished many elements I won't be able to apply these techniques on books. but I will surely build other Dioramas, with particular techniques

@@edoart3081 Model building is a constant, learning experience. I've been building for about 57 years now, and I'm still learning new ideas and techniques. While it's always desirable to make each new project better than the previous one, the main goal is to relax and have fun. I'm looking forward to more projects you post in the near future. Another suggestion I can offer is for you to join your local chapter of the International Plastic Modelers Society (IPMS.) I joined the St. Louis, Missouri, USA, Gateway Chapter, around 1975. That's where I met Bob Letterman, Lewis Pruneau, and many, many other master modelers, who taught me a lot about the hobby.

@@MrPolicekarim Sadly, Mr. Pruneau passed away September 12, 2021 in St. Genevieve, Missouri. I remember being at a model show and contest in St. Louis in the late 1980's when his massive 1/32nd scale B-52 diorama first made its debut. There was so much to take in that unless it was pointed out to the viewer, few noticed that one of the outrigger landing gears on the wings had come off during transit. Around the same time, Mr. Pruneau brought a diorama of a German WW2 V-80 U-Boat in drydock to the regular IPMS Gateway meeting. There were lighting and sound effects - including a flashing welder's torch. To say Mr. Pruneau was a fascinating model builder would be a gross understatement.

Back in the day, we used 3/4 inch plywood cut into squares, sanded and sealed with varnish or shellac to apply our groundwork (usually Celluclay) to for setting our scenes. A more modern method is derived from Wargaming Terrain using XPS Insulation foam for basing material - with the added bonus that it may be built-up and carved beforehand without adding too much weight. I'm sure you've already seen plenty of diorama tutorials on this site showing this. There are also books for wargamers about how to make a variety of detailed terrain that are just as useful to static display modelers. You've chosen a fine hobby!

Thank you very much! All these figures I bought on the internet Amazon / Ebay, these 1/16 scale soldiers aren't particularly in demand, a shop is unlikely to sell them.

@@edoart3081 Very cool! I'm gonna look this up. I'm wanting to get into miniatures =D I'm gonna have to look up Dragon. I'm thinking about getting into the ones that can also be used as a tabletop strategy game you play against another person. Like Flames of War. Been looking at different companies and sets. Do you play any games with minis like that?

@@sometrucka5881 Yes, honestly I was seeing how the WarGames worked, and I also wanted to see if I could create them, since these are really very small miniatures, I mean 1/72 if not smaller (then of course it also depends on what kind of war scenario), so i should try to see if they fit me well. I prefer 1/35 or 1/16 for soldiers, so they are more detailed and more comfortable to see.

Thanks so much. so for this model I essentially used a Tamiya TS-27 MATT WHITE for white (I recommend you shake it before using it because very light colors like this or yellow or others tend to be too liquid and poorly mixed if not shaken before being used ) for the tracks, tools and cables I used a H-018 Mr Hobby Aqueous: Steel, honestly it's fine but maybe it's too dark, if you want you can use this color, otherwise I don't know what other color I can recommend, for the mud effect I used AK 083 Track Wash and for the Dirt Citadel Nuln Oil shade and for the rust effect the Ammo Mig: 1004 Light Rust Wash. if you want to create the same King Tiger model of Zdezda know that before painting it I used SUPERFACE PRIMER Tamiya, if the model is too shiny it is necessary to give a light layer of TS-80 FLAT CLEAR, for the fenders I painted them with a little of XF-2 FLAT WHITE Tamiya with the brush
