Star Wars Battlefront II Supremacy Gameplay
Seeing the trucks drive down the street with Heatwave playing in the background will never not be awesome. This scene is up there with the reveal of the Ecto1 in Ghostbusters.
In all honesty, they're pretty easy on him for such a goof on the very first day.
I'm like I'm late for shift hahaha
The driver actor Jack McGee was an actual FDNY firefighter in the Bronx with engine co 38 and ladder 51 before pursuing an acting career
Shake and Bake? Like Talladega nights!
17s chauffeur got promoted to battalion chief and reassigned to rescue me 😂😂😂
Ah fucksake my train just pulled into Blackheath
The film was written by 2 Buffalo Boys and Ron Howard stole it.
Can anyone tell me what the particular siren is called at time mark :21-:24 sounds like a two tone oscillating up and down? I realize it's a siren but is there a proper name or description for it?
It's a Hi-Low
©️ 1991 Universal City Studios, Inc. and Imagine Films Entertainment, Inc.
Yea, ok. Shoulda had the coffee ready for both companies upon their return.
Backdraft was a fantastic movie
Ah fuck My train just got into Blackheath come On mate ya can make it get in provide this reminds me of my 6months as provide in Blackheath volunteer fire department hell yeah
Talk about rotten luck
I wonder if all fire apparatus....especially the county I live at, has stereos inside their trucks?
If I'm not mistaken, Brian is never actually in a firetruck when it departs, he's always chasing it down with his gear in one hand throughout the entire movie.
No, the actors got to ride in the trucks, they just had to have real FF's driving the trucks.
@@EvanDowell1213 lol no I mean his character is never seen sitting in a fire truck before it leaves the station, he's always late and has to jump on at the last second.
Except as little kid Brian in the opening his dad Kurt Russel puts him in the seat
@@michlo3393do we count him being early on engine 51 when he's up there with Jennifer? 😂
The fire where Stephen pulled out the kid we can assume he was on the truck the whole time for that one and not chasing it
Still waiting for part 2.
Interesting the day says september 10th the next day september 11th

I know the feeling...😢
It’s crazy how many people know lines from this movie too. I thought I was the only one.
1:24 1:25 Get out of the way!!
0:05 Brian: Ah shit! My car wouldn’t start!
The most recognized engine from the movie would be Engine 17. Engine 17 started service with the Chicago Fire Department in July of 1970. This1970 Ward LaFrance Pumper was first assigned to Engine Co. 8. The pumper was later assigned to Engine 18. In 1987, it was refurbed with a Ranger cab and E-One body before it was given to Ron Howard's production group in July of 1990. Ron Howard used Engine 18 (portrayed as Engines 17 & 51 in the movie) until February of 1991. After the filming of the movie, the apparatus was given to Engine 69 were it remained in-service until 1995 when it was disposed of.
Aww shit, my car wouldn't start, what'd you doing man, yeah that a boy, damn
Brian saw the fire truck
As engine 17 was getting closer Stephen yanked the cord to blast the air horns on the truck get other civilians out of the way
1:07 always gives me goosebumps
Shake & bake boys, I think we got a Barbecue (Barbeque | BBQ) 😂🤣 Totally love that line in the film.💕🎥🎬📽🎦🎞
I say that line whenever I’m going to a working structure fire, especially house fires
He coulda gotten a cab
I love the old school light bars and that's Q I can't stand the new crap

First time watching: “Nice that he wants to look out for his boss.” Rewatching now: “Should’ve been a clue, Stephen….”

Tim indeed did not check that door for heat
Tim had to be thinking, we must be close like Wolfman from top gun for sure
It was at this moment, Tim fucked up.
Never drift your fire truck in a corner
RIP fire truck that crashed
That was my neighborhood firehouse for 20+ years - 43rd (Pope John Paul II Drive) and Archer Avenue. When it was filming there, I saw and met Kurt Russell. I even gave him a recommendation for a good Italian Beef stand, and he sent a production assistant to grab him 10 of them. Gorgeous, old-school firehouse to this day. God bless the fireman around the world and a tip of the cap to the CFD.
Love this! I literally rode my bike down past the firehouse this afternoon. What a great movie and thank you for your service 👏 🙏.
Thats Awesome man I've wanted to meet Kurt since I first saw this movie when I was 5 years Old.
That’s awesome
1:30 The crash is so Initial D
I’m just gonna say, if the engineer ain’t using the steering wheel as a drum while hauling ass to the fire, they aren’t an engineer!
I do the same thing all the time
That actor was a.real FDNY firefighter in the 80s.He knows how to drum!
@@truthfinder8491 the black guy that says I'm sorry was a real Chicago fireman and several of the guys on the ladder truck were also.
@@mdunc189 Kevin Casey played Nightengale,he was also a real Chicago firefighter, recently retired, also made a cameo on Chicago Fire.
@@mdunc189 His name is Cedric Young, long since retired,he also made cameos on Chicago Fire and Chicago Med.
We used to play Fire by Ohio players...LOL
Still one of my favorite movies. Probably seen it 50 times.
