Now and then the Moon covers a star or a planet. That’s a lunar occultation, and a fine example will happen on December 7, 2022. If you are in the right place at the right time, you can watch Mars hide behind the full Moon and reappear an hour later. For the Western USA it will occur conveniently in the early evening, but elsewhere it will be at other times or not at all! Find out more in this ...

great content thanks for this informative video really great old skool video. saved my time
Question: may we take photos there but what about recordings with a real camera but not for commercial use? New time comer
I have a question. 9:51 If one mode on a polyatomic molecule is excited are the other modes also excited?
What about protective eyewear n nitrile gloves, and a water bath?😢
I learned a lot about Vanedium, thanks for the video😊
Very informative experiment nice to see theory and experiment together Dr Wall uk
Super... Thx to uploaders too
Awesome 😎 Thank you for sharing #bluemorpho
What has always puzzled me is that the Eel went from pristine in 1848 to completely compromised 100 years later. 50 years into that we realized what we were doing. Sine then, NOTHING has been done except embracing the extractive model even further. 50 years to ruin it and I would say 50 to years to fix it once we decide to. I won't hold my breath. Most of the watershed lives close to the poverty line and yet they are acting like they all have something to lose by fixing the watershed.
Here’s the video a lot of these commentators are coming from: czcams.com/video/on2GWiWWaU4/video.html

We have been a MARE school for many years (St. Vincent Ferrer School) and I *just* found this video. I am thrilled!
👍
nice, we have developed mechanical models to demonstrate these modes of vibrations.
Wonderful to see these again! It was a pleasure working with Dr. Art Campbell & his colleagues on the 2nd Editions of these films in the 1980s. I worked at Wexler Films in Los Angeles filming the titles, credits & much of the animation. Thanks to the Lawrence Hall of Science for making these available outside the classroom.
Frequency Vibrations = Levitation. The Pyramids worked like a "Tuning Fork" and could be easily picked up close by to power the tools used to shape the stones, and other devices. Each corner of the Pyramid used Sound Waves to place the Stone blocks in place, with instruments amplified to project sound waves, in a controlled environment to lift stones.
This is still the best visualization of molecular vibration. Amazing that it's from 1959.
Wow 😍 ❤ chemistry superb
Oh my God, it's nail cigarette
👑 thank you wow thats some knob 0:06:51
They look like they are having such a fun time and learning new things at the same time! The gears were turning full of new possibilities
So true! I warms up the heart.
So true! It warms up the heart
Cassia, thank you so much for sharing with us. You are a wonderful educator and the children must love you to death...how fortunate they are to have you! Keep up the good work!
Thank you!!!
Wow!!! This is so wonderful!! I love how into everything they all are and the approach of creating a learning space that can engage everyone!! It's also so clear that the kids are so invested because Cassia has created such a wonderful environment of experimentation and creativity. Your creativity is so inspiring! I hope one day I can be an educator like you <3
Dear Cassie, thank you so much! "Play to Learn" doesn't have to stop as students get older. I will be happy to connect you with colleagues who are innovating the way they teach to high schoolers.
Love the fact that they learn by having fun!!
Yes! Learning from each other can be a lot of fun!
Great job Cássia ! It’s a challenge working with children and you have a very special way to deal with them. It’s your natural gift ! It’s very impressive how you got them to be involved in this task… I love it ! Congratulations !
Priscila, I couldn't do what you do so well. I believe we are all here to share our unique gifts and do the best we can. Thank you!!
Dear Cassia, thank you for doing such an important work. Science in early education doesn't get enough attention. What a great program. !!!! Your passion shows with your dedication. Congratulations, you are wonderful!!
Muito agradecida Marina!
Dear Cássia, you make us so proud. Your work is so noble. You are a natural!
Thank you for the kind words. I am so thankful for the opportunity to learn from the best among us: the children!
@Cassia Izaac Teaching is your calling , your vocation… it’s visible the joy and enthusiasm when you see the kids curiosity… and better yet, you guided them on how to use the tools at their disposal, you didn’t delegate their next steps and they discovered with awe … congratulations
Thank you for taking the time to share what is in my heart!
Hello! I am Cassia, the educator in this video. Just wanted to offer a little bit of context for this lesson since it was impossible for the video to capture everything. I shared the bird story only after the children explored with the natural materials because I was curious to see and hear what they were wondering about real bird nests and what would happen when they tried to build their own nests without any glue or tape. The story illustrates some of what I observed the children doing. The bird hurt its beak (empathy) as it was picking up the sticks to build its nest. The sticks wouldn't stay on the branch of the tree (challenge). The children shared many ideas about how the bird could use certain materials to make its nest sturdier and had opportunities to try out their ideas (trial and error). The children came up with so many ideas that they didn't want to stop trying them out. Stories should never end!

thank you seems incomplete. there are no trajectories for the electron. the humming bird behaves like it gravitates toward flowers.
thank you
Excellent teaching
seems damn interesting and cool. I just don't get a thing because I study psychology but I'll study some chemistry as a hobbie.
Awesome lecture and experiment 🙏🏾
Awesome lecture
Amazing video! We learned a lot from this, greatly showed the things we desired for our last year of high school, thank you :D
