So far, this is by far the best Brian Wilson interview I have ever heard. I was in the 5th grade in 1963 and that is when Beetle-mania began in Oklahoma City. I cannot remember listening to the Beach Boys on the radio. I pretty much missed the entire original Beach Boys, but over the past year I have discovered them and their life’s story on youtube and Prime Music. I no longer have any interest in the Beetles and my money, as a 72 year old, is being spent on Beach Boys music.

I saw them in 86 at the ohio state fair. Twas awesomeness

Carl Wilson was such a classy, mature, talented human being. Love hearing his vocals. He adds so much depth to The Beach Boys. It was a tremendous loss when he passed away.

Being a Beach Boy from 1963 - 1976 must have been great. After that I would rather have lived in a dumpster.

There's a video recording of the entire Wembley performance on here. Whichever you listen to - don't they sound great! There'll never be anyone to compete with these legends. Timeless songs, timeless group. Perfect.

I remember going to this concert after I finished my shift in Apollo One Discount Store on O'Connell Street. The manager there got me into the Beach Boys. The audience was very enthusiastic that night and the band really responded to them. It was a great concert despite Brian not being there. I still have the ticket and the bootleg cassette tape, which I bought from one of the hawkers on O'Connell Bridge. Thanks for posting this. It brought back good memories.

Unbelievable quality. Big big difference when Carl was still alive. Dennis contributed much talent as well.

My first BB concert! They were on that night. Found out years later that CBS/Columbia recorded it for a possible live album.
