I would imagine that people will be at work on a Friday so by the time they finish it's going to be to much of a rush to drive to Blackpool to watch fireworks then drive home again,where on a Saturday they can come in the morning and make a day of it and finish off with the fireworks before driving home then having a rest on Sunday,makes sense really.
