NREL is doing great work on Hydrogen, but are hiding it away. I have gone to their Golden offices 20 times and could not see these cars or drive on them. They are acting like they are nuclear secrets instead of opening the doors and showing the world. And using facking N. Gas instead of water to generate H2. Stop wasting the world's time!

Energy is important but desalination is more important. Things like this can be used in deserts for terraforming. I have personally used it in my homemade cooker for making food.

I visited the visualisation lab with a delegation. Walking into data is astounding, and while for lay people it's just a novelty, researchers who know in detail what is represented here do get a totally new perspective which allows them to see patterns that would otherwise remain hidden.

By a separate part of the process involving heat addition. This is the energy input to the cycle, and a good thing about it is that it could be most any heat source, including solar, natural gas, waste factory heat, rejected heat from fuel cells, etc. No need for electric input, other than for fans and pumps.

Ok...the idea is fantastic. It's wonderful. Just like 200 mpg cars or batteries that charge in 5 minutes. Yes, but more important than the technology...look at the pattern...Gov. takes taxes from us and then funds this research, which is then sold to private industry by lobbyists, who then sell back to us what we've already paid for, for massive profits, but only after they've sophisticated the process enough to effectively exclude Mom and Dad from doing it at home. WAKE UP.
