I think this, or the Mythic Alpine could become my new "go to" jacket.
The crappy background music and effects destroys the spirit of the video. it totally demeans the life threatening efforts of the climbers by drowning their haunting voices in their stupid effects.

In my experience the pads (from other manufacturers) with that kind of dimples and a 20D fabric tend to get micro leaks at the welds. Those dimples are very comfortable but seem to add a lot of stress on the fabric compared to horizontal of vertical baffles. I like the design to reduce convection heat loss (which makes pads colder than what their R-value suggests). I'd love to tryout the Rab Ultrasphere for my upcoming Alps traverse !

recycled poly always. i challenge anyone to look up "plucking down feather production process" on youtube and still argue for down. once you see and hear a plucked and bleeding duck you'll know what i mean.
Hi Dawn, Thank you for your comment. We use recycled down in many of our products where this is possible. When we have to use virgin down for the performance properties, we only use down sourced from Europe, and accredited by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS), which does not permit live plucking. @@RabEquipmentThe RSPCA assure animal flesh filled sandwiches in the supermarkets meet standards that improve the lives of farm animals, for example. The irony is not lost on people that choose to not support such practices. Biproducts from industries that suggest these animal parts are free from cruelty is often a hard thing to determine. We need to get wiser about our use of plastic, this I think is much easier than having to choose to cause unnecessary harm to living beings, particularly in the case of what is technically a (performance) fashion item. Just a thought

I love Rab gear - love to buy British and really wanted to like this but.. no way I’m trusting anything to those flappy loose side pockets and I’m not tying anything to the front, side or bottom of my pack with what looks like string. Also the lack of hip belt pockets is disappointing, I like to keep my phone there for navigating and taking pictures.

I hope Rab would come up with something clever here. I struggle every morning when I’m wild camping. Not the right time to refold and repack multiple times in a tiny tent or outside if the weather is bad or the ground is wet. Some renowned tent maker made their stuff sacks for their tents larger just for that reason being able to easily pack away your tent even in strong winds and miserable conditions.
What's the recommend load for these pacls? Cheers
Hi there, we don't advertise a maximum weight for our packs - but they should be capable of easily carrying all the kit for the adventures they're designed for! If you need any more specific advice, we'd be more than happy to help

If this isn’t inspirational, what is? I have .never thought about cycling at “my own pace” before….I have been a cyclist for years, mostly MTB, but have recently bought a e-bike because of my health, my spine is beyond repair and at 57 and using a power chair when I need to walk anywhere like a supermarket, cycling allows me to still feel independence, to feel that connection with nature, and with myself. I am lucky enough to live in the Shropshire hills in the UK, granted it’s not the wilds of Canada or Africa etc, but it puts me out there enjoying the natural world even though I am disabled….so thank you guys for such a wonderful film 🤙

Could you tell me why my RAB CIRRUS jacket synthetic insulation appears to have bobbling? If i hold it up to the light I can see the spaces or if I wear a dark tshirt I can see it through certain parts of the jacket where the synthetic insulation has bobbled Thanks
