I've been shocked by an electric fence twice and I can totally confirm the reaction they have here. It's a horrible feeling, it really does feel like someone takes a sledge hammer and slams it square into your chest. Discovery show or not they were in Jamie's shop. The Mythbusters were willing to do very dangerous experiments but not causally or on a lark. The subject, the physics, all possible variables accounted for. Every percussion taken. Driving a race car is very dangerous. Helmets, restraints, crumple zones, break away panels, fire retardant, special suit that withstands flames. Fire rescue on standby. Then they will do the experiment. I liked that once or twice on camera they have said nope, no one is getting in/on/under this rig. You don't play with electricity. It's not a prank. It's actually illegal. It's even one thing to say that why don't you try this dangerous thing? But not incoming someone and tricking them into it. Ok the shock isn't life threatening. What if Adam fell, slipped, cracked his head open?

That actually is genuinely dangerous because the electric current will go across the heart if you touch it with both hands like that. That could cause irregular rhythm and heart failure

I don’t think the myth was busted truly. Here they challenged in a plane on the tarmac, not traveling thousands of feet in the air. And that’s adventure movies for you, a bullet likely wouldn’t do it but a crack in the fuselage like what happened on that flight over Hawaii or a faulty door latch that ended up ripping the door off in mid flight, those did it.

This is a stupid test. Why? Because it is unable to be tested on actual flight conditions without endangering someone. 1st The actual pressure on the outside of the plan is different from one at actual height. 2nd Does anyone know what a centrifuge is or what simply happens to the air inside a moving vehicle with the window cracked.? Ever seen smoke sucked out of a vehicle with the window cracked? Well imagine the air being sucked out of a passenger jet going 600mph with the wind going past the bullet hole coupled with sudden decompression. These fuckers were payed to debunks this or they are the dumbest people on earth. This is like that stupid test do you get wet faster when you run. Duh anyone who drives can see that you have to speed up your wipers as you go faster because your windshield is collecting more rain. I'm no expert but this stuff is just common sense based on observation.
