Great video! What a humble man, with an incredible skill
I am so sad that there is no future for tailors. Every girl loves a sharp dressed man. So is the end of them too.
the last great Islor of long thailand
Legend. 💛❤ Thank you.

Had the opportunity to sit in front of the Music Inn and play guitar with Jeff. It was beautiful and a morning to remember always.
Beautiful life story! I love the contrast between his normal work clothes and the soccer outfit at the end 😂
Brava !!!! 👍👍👍👍
What a brilliantly sweet life story... .
I bought a Gibson f-hole guitar at music inn in 1970
💚💙❤️🌹
This would be my favorite movie ❤️
1.70 Absolutely perfect 👌
Fascinating
The greatest song is yet to be written ❤
What am I watching here? Omg, I can’t even believe the life he’s had. I’m in tears!
It did not make it past the 70s , but , my Dad owned Elmhurst Electronics on Broadway in Elmhurst Same front accordion gate to wrestle with And the inside , stacks of repaired or other sound gear TV's , just a different time that you are keeping alive Live long Hippie
"My mama always said, 'Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.'
He had to wear braces on his legs as a boy. One day some bullies were chasing him and Jimi Hendrix yelled “Run, Hippy, run!!” and he was runnin… carrying a sitar.
What a cool guy.
What an amazing story also kudos to whoever put this together.

What's with all the unneeded subtitles¿?????? Ruins it for me, he's speaking English you know
Interesting 🤨
One of my first stops when I first moved to NYC back in the day. Lovely piece of nostalgia 🎸😎
A man that follows his own compass
Hello JEFF - I have been in your store and it was wonderful - -I remember the sitars in the windows as well as inside your store - - a wonderland of instruments -crammed tight - no place to really walk around - but all in all a great experience - Joe Nania - Harlem New York -
New York is the only city in the US where I could feel at home.
Wow. Guy lived a charmed life. Aside from all doors opening to him and surviving an unsuccessful abortion he had experiences with Chuck Berry, John Lennon, Dylan, spiritual masters, famous artists, Muhammad Ali, Haight-Ashbury, George Harrison. Amazing.
It's too bad the shop will probably soon be shut down in order to house immigrants. 😢
Wow, sometimes the CZcams algorithms bring you a gem of story! This is a gem!!

A white man would have no publicity on this….
What an amazing story. Such a bright and varied life. And makes mine so suburban and boring lol
Did you ever meet Roger Sprung?... Banjo...World Champion since 1972. Regular in Washington Square....I studied under him and got to travel with him from 2007 thru 2014... he made my life so much better... thanks again Jeff for sharing your story. 👍🎶👍
I did know Roger fairly well.in the 1960s
His life was guided by an instrument. I get it.
This story made my whole day, and it's only 7:07 A.M. Thanks!
Marcus Aurelius supposedly coined the phrase, "Go with the flow." Jeff lives it.
Yo he is amazing. His life is tremendously amazing. Thank you for this gift of his story. Wow. Wow....

I hate to nitpick, but I'm confused as to how GI Bill money, which is for college, was used to start a business?
I first met Jeff while Hitchhiking as a young man, he is perhaps one of America's greatest treasures right up there next to Rock & Roll and Amy Joy's Doughnut's. My Grandparents were from '' The Old Country ''and spoke Yiddish. I drove my Grandmother every Saturday down to the Jewish Community Center to visit with her friends. Most of them had tattoo's on their left arms from the Nazi Camps. They were all small smiling people all bent over with age and hung all over with many beautiful wrinkles. We shared stories ...
Dude has led a charmed life! What a long, strange trip he's been on!
I saw Ali in Chicago driving his convertible Rolls Royce. He was an instantaneous crowd magnet and he enjoyed every single second of it. Bigger than life man.
This guy is the Fat Joe of the folk world Andre 3000 🔥 This is a great story. Loved it

I feel myself very connected to this sir
There are times in life when a story or a person personifies free spirit and adventure. I think his life should be a movie and I hope that store continues to exist. Part of HIStory! Jeffrey Slatnick There are many like him, which we need.
We need this movie to be made
