I bought the same tent/footprint combo at the start of this year and thanks to the terrible weather it's had about the same amount of use as my three seasons. I spent a night on a summit in it with wind I measured at a steady 48mph that then picked up during the night, it was bucketing it down so i didn't get out to measure it but I'd say it hit 60mph at least. The tent wasn't double poled but i used ground anchors on the guys and double pegged the other points and it hardly moved the frame at all. They are a good tent with not a lot I'd change about them, possibly a door that opened fully to one side and didn't sit along the bottom but i can live with that. In a tunnel tent with a vestibule i think the footprint is a must to make the best use of the space you have.

Was up there last weekend and even had a little swim at the waterfall, lovely place.

Looks like a nice walk that mate. Nothing beats getting out and taking it all in. Ave delivered to the rose and thistle a couple times looks like a canny little pub. Great video mate

It's a canny walk we did a bivvy camp behind the hut looking out to Scotland can get busy up there atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍

I'm coming up there soon from the south coast worthing 400 miles away to do some coast path walks Could you tell me where you parked up for this hike camp as I'd like to pitch up around there for my first camp . I'll be in my car and I have limited knowledge of the area so if you could give me an idea of near where you parked in a village or something it would be really useful Thank you very much
