@Weld_bro since you are pursuing welding, don't go cheap. Get something that will last you and worth the money. With that being said, I'm a big fan of HTP

@fh4dragster740 I love to hear this! With every new discipline comes its challenges. Keep practicing! Keep getting all the hood time you can! Tig welding isn't something that will just come over night, there is an art form to it. Be patient and you'll get it. Keep me posted on your progress 👌🏼 👨‍🏭

@isj032 it most definitely is. Look at the latest video where I use the center. Also I am very new to machining and lathe work. If you have any advice, I would be happy to take as much as possible

@Matt-zz7yy dude! Your comment is advice I'm absolutely looking for! I really have no machining experience, this is all new to me and I'm looking for all the help and advice I can get! I noticed that myself and I'm not sure how to set my chuck up properly. It's a 4 jaw chuck, and each jaw has its own screw. Anything you can help me with would be greatly appreciated please!

@amberc.2137 6" stainless steel pipe with about a 3/8th plate on top. The plate is just a stopper or a cap. These small ends will then slip fit over another machined pipe that will have a beveled grove that I butt joint weld together. Because it is slipping on fit to another machined part, there really isn't a root pass like what you would think in an open joint butt weld. The fit up is completely together. But yeah, for this video, in particular, these pieces are just getting a top cap plate to the ends of the pipe. Any questions feel free to comment! I'm happy to help!

You know what, the way it was explained to me sounds wild. You know like an extension for a ratchet and socket? That's how these pipes were explained to me. 5" pipe, 5 feet long extensions.

Watch a few more of the shorts, I have some of the full length pipes in some shorts and videos. Actually my last long style video shows them pretty well.
