😂👌..you need an old speed triple 🎉
mike is on a major two stroke journey, but if we come across the right speed triple it could happen.
99 problems but cat daddy ain’t one
he could be 981/2 of them at times😸
Mike's next project bike should be a Trials bike
there is one I have a line on...we will see if it pans out
You guys are great, love your work 💥😎
Right on thank you for watching😊
Slowly becoming the best channel on CZcams
We are trying
Glad you helped him tear it down
im 7 minutes in , and I have a feeling its gonna be ready to ride in another 7 minutes
Just in time. Delaney’s KTM was stolen from his storage unit.
Haha, was it a dirt bike?
@@intheshop8009 Yeah, I think he had an enduro. Not sure what size.
that's not good. Does storage company insurance pay ?
@@herrent He didn’t seem to know, at the time. Hopefully he’s figured it out by now. I can’t see how a storage facility doesn’t have insurance
If my Kickstarter is not engaging do I have to take the whole transmission out to fix that
I think so
Since the kickstarter shaft is coaxial with the shifter shaft, the cases have to be split to get to the mechanism. Per the engine repair manual, the kickstart is the first thing that is installed in a bare case.
Did you keep track of where you bought all the replacement parts. I'm picking up a 94' 400 basket case and new to KTM so vendor list would be helpful.
yes
@@intheshop8009 trying to figure out how to direct message you to share contact info if your willing to share your parts vendor list
Yes, I have a spreadsheet that has all that info in it. Be aware, a lot of these parts were sourced from ebay due to them not being made anymore and they have to be sourced used. But everything is available, it is just how much you want to pay for it. Not to many vendors out there, most are individuals and salvage places. Some pieces are still available directly from KTM.
@@mikekubani I believe I just emailed the Ivan address
I don't know who this Eric O. Guy is you talk about but he sounds pretty damn handsome 😏
😻👍
Gynecologist headlamp
Dont get any spots on that tshirt!!!!
Use a pipe spanner for the plug
It’s coming together. When Mike is going over the chain line and spark plug issues, let’s not forget about that ass hatchet of a saddle that’s on there. Needs a a nice Brooks springer.
that "ass hatchet" seat matches the bike frame perfectly!
Wish I could Crack some open with you guys are awesome! Keep bringing content
Jesus what happened to your face bruh😢😅
a grinder was coming for me, but not to worry I blocked it with my face!
Fml dude , stay safe
Yes❤
best music ive heard on youtube
thank you, Love that ole Buck Owens!
I drive a 74 D Series pickup. I just finished doing my windshield lip rust repair. Once I got into it I found that it was quite rotted. I had to replace the entire lip across the roof windshield line, from pillar to pillar. Both sides in the inside lower corners was rotted. I had water pouring in. The lower edge, at the cowl wasn't awful. Anyhow, I'm just a few minutes into your video, excited to see how it turns out.
Fake it to make it 👊
Lift kit 😂😂😂

Great video! Do you have a shop? Would love guys like yourselves addressing this on my 2020 Gladiator. Would the following be accurate: 1. Go into PCM (Pay $50) 2. Special Functions 3. Reset PCM Memory 4. Bank 1 & 2 Exhaust Phaser Cleaning 5. General Function Throttle reset or relearn To confirm did you initially perform or eventually any of the following: 1. Intake Phaser cleaning bank 1 & 2 2. Cam Crank relearn
yes basically that is correct the secure gate way is something new and a PIA we did both intake and exhaust phaser cleaning on both banks. did not do the crank cam re learn. I do not hire out, this is my home hobby shop.
Great video! Did you change any coil packs when you first had the misfire?
Also important to understand 2 cycle motors. Experienced technician would have drained the cases first and then vacuum tested it. The diagram lifts the fuel and the pick up in the tank is a one way valved filter to keep the fuel up in. the line at the carb to feed the pump diaphragm. Need to understand how different the 2cycke engine is from the 4 cycle. If there's a seal or single place in the joining surfaces if the cases it will never run without required pulse in the crankcase. All simple but nessasary to understand. Good luck old Rupp. Dandahermit ( I wonder if you'll make a part 2 video)
thanks for the info ! yes part two is coming
That's a serious quality designed engine for Mikey Rupp at the Tohatsu manufacturirs in Japan that along with the first aluminum tunnel as well as numerous inovations that revolutionized the entire snowmobile industry. That Kehin diaphragm carb is only a little better than the cursed Walboro hR. If you don't clean the fuel tank and replace the one way pickup/filter in the tank it will not function. You're obviously waaay out if your element. Understanding the design function of the CVT drive system ( the one componenant that the industry could have never occured without) is very important. The whole drive system to the track are a highly tuned and balanced system. Lack of knowledge on it will only lead to it destroying itself. You should do a little research.I'm 80 yrs old from the Bush of Alaska and have about 70 years experience in over 75 modules. Machines are expected to function within their engineered design . No machine will survive being worked without that understood. Dandahermit. You're working on a history making machine. Learn something about it.
I will look into the cvt drive system, the carb is a tillotson. the info on the one way valve sounds interesting!
I've got three 71 Sport 44s with the Tohatsu 440s and a 72. Wide track with the Hirth motor. Dandahermit
just come pick one out, this Suzuki was for a customer.
Can’t see no light 😂
Ask mike what my options are to pick one of his fine motos
You da man
Sticking things in holes
its a dirty job but somebodys got to do it!
It's weird how hard parts are to find for this bike. KTM made a lot of these, and used that engine design a lot. No idea why it's so hard to find anything for this bike.
You gentleman look great God bless! Missed you mike!
I know mike ROCKS! he is a mechanical genius, that is for sure
This is what I'm talking about
