HOW TO GET BIRD MITES OFF OF SKIN AND OUT OF YOUR HOUSE FAST!
This video is an example of how I am treating the Bird Mite problem inside of my house and on my skin... I hope this helps you! Best of luck!
The video cut off at the end but you want to clean your house aggressively until you aren’t getting bit anymore and then you want to do a maintenance cleaning and spraying once or twice for the next few weeks after the bites stop just in case any new eggs have hatched.
TIP-if you keep chickens or birds or you live around birds and nests use diatomaceous earth in coops, bird cages, brooders, or around nests. It can help a lot! My hens give themselves dust baths with it and it really helps mite issues!

Pine Tree Gum Spirits Turpentine that come from the sap of pine tree (not the chemical turpentine at hardware store which is toxic. only natural gum spirits) really has been a life saver with mites in and on skin and in ears. It's been used all over the world for hundreds of years including in the states . It was a big industry here and was in everyone's medicine cabinet's back in the day. It worked way better than the permethrin skin treatment. In fact I didn't notice the permethrin helping skin at all. Diatomaceous earth (food grade only( also really helps putting it on plastic sealed bedding before putting sheets and on skin, brows and eyelashes. I wash with the gum spirits with a body and face scrubber twice a day and took the gum spirits internally per Dr Jennifer Daniels protocol. This is not easy, hang it there. It can get better. Together we can figure this out.

Ok, folks, although not pleasant, bird mites are no reason to panic. They may get inside and they may bite, but they are absolutely unable to reproduce inside your home or to survive on human blood. Their life cycle is 2 weeks. Clean them up. Do a thorough clean up of old nests that may be ON your house. 2 weeks later, your problem is resolved.

Been dealing with them for 4 years now moved into an infested carpeted apartment with my cockatiel my cockatiel caught them from previous owners unfortunately for me I had the no-seeums too with the biting black midges right outside the door that were coming in my air conditioner The thing I realized about bugs is they don't like cold and they don't like it when there's no moisture in the air when it's dry so I got myself a dehumidifier and I kept it running constantly on high to suck the water out of the air and boy did it suck the water out of the air I noticed a lot less more activity and biting then I bought an ionizer air purifier to collect any kind of bacteria in the air that you can't see like dust mites also It brought the dust mites all down to the floor and I've noticed I was getting bitten on my ankles more than on my face and on my head That led me to vacuuming everyday then I brought the temperature from the air conditioner on the one of the coldest settings because they don't like cold and dry weather together but I was getting bitten in bed I was putting olive oil from head to toe I'm sorry aloe vera aloe vera lotion all over me from head to toe I would notice it would wear off around 2:00 3:00 and that's when I would start getting bitten again in the morning they're like vampires they come out at dawn and and dusk and they eat and they feed they were biting me and my cockatiel at the same time then they were biting everyone that visited me

why is it that alot of people are saying they been dealing with these for years ?? i’m so confused. do they keep the bird nest around them instead of getting rid of it, or what? this is scaring me because i found a bird nest in my backyard near my bedroom window and thought awww how cute, until i started itching 🙃 really regret moving into my room because now these comments are scaring me that it’ll be almost impossible to get rid of them… if they don’t have a host to live on, keep my windows closed, they can’t survive forever on humans or without a bird host, and use sprays to get rid of them how are people complaining of dealing with them still? i even saw comments where people say they’ve even moved houses like …. they can’t live on humans so how is that possible? i really hope and pray once i spray bug spray and clean my room and clothes and curtains that i won’t deal with them anymore and most importantly get the bird nests out of my backyard

EDTA 10 % to 5 % ammonium chloride and the water. Game changer as far as bird mite. EDTA, coconut oil, Aloe Vera gel and epsom salt can make a good scrub too. There’s been much speculation that bird mites can be one of the causative agents for Morgellons disease. Not sure if that’s a factor, I know Lyme is, and that disease is bad enough. Morgellons disease is like living in some sci fi circle of hell. The itching and formication aka crawlies, you’re feeling with bird mites never goes away when you have Morgellons. It actually feels like you’re wearing a suit of fiberglass with the added joy of fire ants stinging you as well. Bird mites also need to be more openly discussed. Climate change is making certain insects become truly problematic. If any of you don’t know what Morgellons disease is, there’s new research out there. The national Library of health amongst others are finding more links to bacterial infections.

These things are ruining my life. First we had a bird nesting in the roof. Then, same like you I had bites and the doctor diagnosed me with scabies. After that a social worker said “Per Google she’s exhibiting signs of Münchausen syndrome” and took my breastfeeding baby away. They got in my hair, eyes, eyelashes and brows, and in my genitals. Low and behold a year later they came back and we found a chicken roosting area under my house where my work desk is. My landlord is sick and has been slow to get rid of the nest. After a month and a half of begging, the best is gone but the mites are still there. Spraying miticide outside tmrw. Don’t give up. Find the nest. Don’t give up.

Please watch Green Akkers Pest Contol YT channel video called: Cheap Bed Bug Solution - rubbing alcohol - Does it Work. (I promise I'm not affiliated with this channel in any way. I just found him and after watching a few of his videos realize that he is giving out some excellent advice for free.) This video is about people using alcohol to spray onto surfaces to kill bed bugs and how flammable it is and alternatives for bed bugs. I realize they're different bugs (unless some of the viewers on this channel actually have bed bugs and they think they've got mites) but the information about using alcohol is very important. He does advise the use of a product called Suspend SC for killing mites and points out you MUST eliminate the source of the mites or you'll never get rid of them.

Just found this write up, on the Premo mite guard, Kills Bird Mites This product works amazing. My house was infested with bird mites. I had to throw away everything I own including my bed and new furniture. I never thought they would go way. I tried the most powerful chemical sprays and this stuff works the best. I did have a pest company come and spray a couple of times but the Premo spray worked good on my clothes and shoes. The fact that it is odor free and safe for humans and pets makes it a lot easier to continue spraying it over a course of two months. When dealing with bird mites spray Premo on a dry swiffer for the walls and ceilings. Or spray the ceiling and walls directly and leave it there for a week. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Michele. Just for Heads Up, hadn’t flea-treated 4, indoor-outdoor cats over winter. And the extra warm weather over last 2-3 wks in N GA has really made birds active. Had a few avian fatalities brought indoors. And now, the s’times visible mites have run amok; causing itchy sores from bites. Feels almost like demonic infestation. I'm currently having this issue at my mom's house but it's only happening in the very back room where I was staying. I moved back in about a month and a week ago and they started attacking me for about a month now. My mom has one cat and it does have fleas so I bought him the fleas liquid solution 3 weeks ago and got him a flea collar today, and I thought i was getting flea bites because the cat does have some fleas. Then I noticed I was getting bit more at night... right away I thought of bed bugs. Then one night sometime bit me around my stomach and when I checked I saw this little kinda round insect crawling on my sweats that I was wearing. And for sure I thought it was bed bugs. Today we had an exterminator come to my mom's house and he saw the little insects crawling on the walls where the back room is and he said it's birds mites. The birds mites are really small and you really have to look to find them. The guy said we most likely have a bird nest somewhere outside of the house and needs to be found to stop the problem so now we need to find the nest. Those bugs are literally invisible if you don't looks hard enough cuz I was going crazy and things are starting to make sense now. Now I'm using one of the rooms inside the house. Fun times.

I know exactly how you feel Terry! I have been dealing with bird mites for 3 years and I even was diagnosed with Lyme disease the first time I started getting bit. It's really frustrating everyone in my household doesn't get bit or even feel them. I'm so glad I found this video & read everyone's comments! I too was told I had scabies only to be told I had Lyme disease & several doctors had zero explanation what was biting me, even after biopsies! I was treated like a "tweeker" because I scratched myself raw everywhere I was bit. I was told I probably had a mental disorder & I was imagining bugs on me! I still feel like I'm screaming & trying to tell everyone what I feel but I'm behind a sound proof glass wall. I've wanted to give up so many times but I refuse to let these aggravating mites win. Hang in there Terry ❤️🤗
