Booloumba creek,Sunshine Coast QLD
The Booloumba Falls walk in Conondale National Park, showcases stunning surrounds and a variety of wildlife. It features lush rainforests, tall eucalypt trees, waterfalls, boulder-strewn creeks and spectacular scenery.
On the way you`ll come across the old Gold Mine then onto the Strangler Cairn an imposing sculpture, standing 3.7metres tall, in the shape of a giant egg, and created by piecing together hundreds of chiselled rocks sourced from a nearby quarry .
Discover Booloumba Creek's cascades, waterfalls and rock pools. Marvel at The Breadknife Rock Outcrop, an impressive rock formation that marks the junction of Peters and Booloumba creeks, and cool off with a swim at the base of the falls.

Imbil to Brooloo Rail Trail

This trail is from Imbil to Brooloo and uses part of the old Mary Valley railway line. The trail is 4.7km long and suitable for walkers, mountain bikers and horse riders. It is a shared-use unsealed road. There is a proposal to extent the walk back across Imbil bridge, through the tunnel to Melawondi and on to Kandanga and Amamoor to link with the Mary Valley Rattler rail line.

Enjoy this 5.5-km loop trail near Amamoor - Cedar Grove Camping area Queensland. This trail is great for birdwatchng, camping, and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll come across many other people while on the trails. Camp beside the creek,eucalypt forest,rain forest,bunya pines,woodlands, flooded gum,iron bark,pink bloodwoods and a hoop pine plantation.

Mt Tibberoowuccum Its a short steep climb from the front or the rear side at 220m high Most people take the front main side but we walked around the east side then around to the back,followed the dirt road along a bit then tracked on up then came down the front side

Probably the least climbed around the Glasshouse Mts at 167m High. Good for hiking and walking and unlikely you’ll come across many people and generally considered a challenging route. Great views of Mt Tibrogargan, Mt Tibberoowuccum the Quarry and including the surrounding areas. Mt. Cooee includes some bush scrambling up and down Dont forget to callout Cooee at the top
Charlie Moreland Camp ground to Mt Allan

Charlie Moreland Camping Ground and Mt Allan is in Imbil State Forest QLD surrounded by hoop pine plantations. Its about an 8.5-km out-and-back trail , considered a moderately challenging route but is fairly steep in places , it takes an average of 3 h 15 minutes to complete. We chose to ride up the gravel road then come back down the steeper fire trail

The Obi Obi has many moods and lots of variety, there are several Gorges and swimming holes to explore and can be accessed from many sections from Maleny down to kenilworth . It had been raining heavy for a few days so the creeks and waterfalls were running.we worked our way back up the Obi Obi to the bottom of the dam.

Thanks for sharing your impressive work on what is a wonderful subject. At a time (Covid) when life has i some ways become more routine. I've come to further appreciate the sea on various levels, where no two days are the same. Waves fascinate me but boy do you need to respect them.

Long walk but without going into private property and annoying “the locals” you can access by starting at the bridge on blackall road & follow petrie creek.

Sure is buddy,i dont see many down this way at all, they usually stop at Kondalilla, from baroon pocket dam itsmuch longer, only hard core adventurous come here

Howdy,its a great out of the way place, worth the longish! hike though ,using a Gopro hero7 for video and Canon sx60hs for Pics-camera is cheap but long zoom and does the job,cheers mate
