Zamboni Sad, Tractor Through the Ice, No Rink for Winter
zhlédnutí 145Před rokem
The winter 2023 ice rink never came to be. The Zamboni couldn't get out on the ice because the Kubota went through. The winter temps did not fall low enough for the foot of ice required to safely carry all that weight. #zamboni #pondhockey
500 HP Snowblower - Meet Mr. Plow
zhlédnutí 3,8KPřed rokem
Mr. Plow started his life as a runway blower for the Harrisburg International Airport. This airport snow blower was originally rated at 3,000 tons-per-hour (TPH). It features a Caterpillar 3208 V-8 diesel drive engine and a Caterpillar inline-6 Model 3406B auxiliary engine. The blower head is 106" wide and is hydraulically driven. Mr. Plow was originally built in 1982 and refurbished for PennDO...
500 HP Snowblower Stuck! Mr. Plow hits a tree - can we get him free?
zhlédnutí 2,7KPřed rokem
While plowing the road with our 500 HP runway snowblower, the ice got the best of the truck and it slid into a tree. Getting it free was a challenge and what came to the rescue but a chunk of chain link fence to get it moving again.

Mr. Plow - our 500 HP runway snowblower was hard at work and caught on the security camera. Good thing the dog is keeping an eye on him!

Mr. Plow is a Norland Idaho snowblower toting a 500 horsepower CAT diesel moving all the snow the U.P. can throw it's way.
Snowblower on the back of Kubota M4900 - Storm Cleanup
zhlédnutí 1,3KPřed rokem
It didn't seem that there was going to be much snow, but when we woke up the lake effect snow had deposited at least 6 inches of snow. Because snow had fallen off the roof of the barn, front end loader work was required where the snowblower can't reach. The Kubota M4900 is equipped with an inverted or rear pull type snowblower. This setup is great because it allows for you to retain your front ...
That's a gillg
kind of looks like a C40LF
Tree jumped out of nowhere officer!
that thing is absolutely terrifying when its driving at the cameraman just wow....
What ever it cost to get that Baby it was worth every penny !!!!!!!!
i'm dropping a fact check on to those giant snow blowers, that snow gets frozen bits that are hard and heavy with sharp edges. It snow blows the bark right off the trees and they usually die. Private property is great but taxpayer equipment can't be killing and wasting taxpayer owned trees. Therefore i am putting a dukakis onto snow blowers, defunding snow blowers and disavowing snow blowers. By my virtuous superiority i will now use my self appointed authority as a racial fluid, trans fluid, undocumented citizen with over 65 participation awards to impeach snow blowers
Wicked machine!
Zzzzzzzz
I think a mechanical trip on a air inlet would be in order for future needs. Have a great day.
Outstanding video Sir 👌👌😇😇👍👍🍻🍻
Biodiesel? I knowbio doesntcold but afuel tank heater? Can you .make it athome?
Nice I bet you watched tool time with Tim Taylor.
Kinda boring, can't see the road, blurry screen, can't see the result.
Cesar 🌨️🌨️🌨️❄️❄️☃️🌬️🥶 Si
Nice blower!
Hope your getting a little cash from the other folks on the road!
We have a road fund that everyone pays into.
That machine looks dangerous
So a Yellow Dinosaur who lived and thrived in the wee Arctic Past has been found to not have gone extinct, exciting^^
Love this beast. Makes my JD 1025r with a 56” blower on the front look like a tonka toy. I could clear my 600’ driveway in 5 minutes with that beast!!
Interesting that the blower is hydraulically powered. Most of the large dedicated snowblowers I've see have the blower driven by a shaft. Presumably because of the power losses with hydraulic power. Yeah hydraulic power is more flexible, but on a dedicated snowblower, you really don't have to move the blower head around that much. Anyway, cool machine. I wish I had a large snowblower like that, and a road to plow with it.
In airport land this machine also had a big broom. They said it was damaged and that truck was only used with the blower. I'm guessing hydraulics make it much easier to switch between implements...
@@irontrails906 OK, that makes sense I guess.
truck is way to big and takes way to long. having to stop and turn the chute. sometimes to big is to much and this is.
Around these parts go big or go home is the motto...
How efficient is the operation of this snow blower!
I assume you're asking about fuel efficiency? That will be something to cover in an upcoming video when the season numbers are all in.
What a machine! Looks like a fun. Thanks for sharing.
California could have used this beast this winter.
Yeah that's for sure. Pot holes the size of vw bugs from skip loaders plowing the roads.
What a beast!!!
What a Beast!
I want this in a zombie apocalypse!
Clean off your windshield
Anybody parking on Street will have the car buried under snow
great camera work
I want one. We don't get that much snow and my driveway is only 100 feet long. I just WANT one. Cool video thankx
That's not a snowplow, that's a snowblower
Should be called.......Mr. Blow!
Haha. Not sure I want the kids announcing that to their friends 😆
I didn’t hear the alarm that the air was low nor did the J or S cam lock up the brakes when you ran out of air.
It didn't run out of air, it was on ice and sliding down hill...
Really don't like the fisheye lens
Sweet.... Now that is the only way to move snow.
I was surprised with all the visual from the cab, he ran into a tree! Kamikaze firewood I guess.
It was all ice, going down a slight hill. There was no stopping.
Chains you need chains
Good call. Perhaps next winter.
Honestly I thought CLICKBAIT!! But dad gummer what a rig!!! Great video!!👍👍👍👍👍😁
Thanks 👍That's probably what the neighbors thought too.
Hope the neighbors chip in for expenses and maintenance ! How many inches of snow have you gotten this year ?
They do split costs. Mr. Plow saves everyone time. We have had 229 inches of show this year so far.
Oh a heated enclosed cab.....ENVY!!!....nice find use her in good health!
That is a beast
Nice setup
To not see the end result is kinda useless for us viewers
Nice buy on the unit. That has been well looked after.! That will out last you and your great-great grandkids! Thanks for showing it !
Do residents with roadside mailboxes have a marker stick attached that can be seen when the snow piles up? Has the blower ever eaten a mailbox?
The post office stopped delivering this year, so most of the mailboxes came out. I hit a 4x4 post, I heard it but didn't see where it went and it didn't sheer a pin.
@@irontrails906 I worked for PennDot in the 80's and early 90's, they used to have me ride shotgun in an OskKosh Blower with an Old Man to keep him awake, one night he sucked up a dead dog that hadn't frozen yet, he was pretty rattled until I came back and told him it was a dog. They eventually took him off blowers when he drove by a house and took all the front windows out of it not adjusting his chute, the couple were at home too, blew the wife right out her chair, glass and snow everywhere, the old boy has probably been gone for years now.
Git er done!
it does not have a rotating chute that i can see .why?
I'm guessing it didn't need one for airport duty. The chute can go from left to right - but it is not set up to load trucks.
@@irontrails906 thanks for the reply
how long is your driveway or road?how many acres do you own?
The road is about 1.25 miles.
Michigan ........ They know how to blow snow. (No pedestrians please)
