@@stevemedlin1601 Yeah, they definitely would have the clubhouse open until 11pm or even up to 12am in the school holidays. They probably would've had an arcade installed in one of those small brick buildings like what it once was or even in both of the small ones if they decided not to put a takeaway in the former Café building but I can imagine that the facilities would be a bit minimal (more than the recently acquired Skegness Holiday Park) due to it's size and be without a swimming pool and possibly it's Sports & Leisure Activities and facilities. As for the Takeaways, unless a Papa John's was installed in the former Café building, I can imagine that the only one there would be a Cook's Fish & Chip Van if Whitby was to become a Haven Park again. But I personally would love to see Whitby brought back into the Haven chain because my like for Haven originated in Yorkshire over at Primrose Valley, hence why I would've loved to see Yorkshire the region in England with the most Haven parks, and Whitby can be a very popular seaside town, probably 10x more popular than Scarborough itself despite it only having a mainly juvenile amusement park (the only big ride in Whitby is the funhouse). I hope that in the future, the family owned Coastdale Parks will be willing to sell their holiday park business (or at least Whitby Holiday Park) to Haven in order to achieve this goal of making Yorkshire the region in England with the most Haven parks. After all, Blue Dolphin near Scarborough, Primrose Valley near Filey and Reighton Sands near Bridlington are close to each other, Thornwick Bay is at Flamborough close to Bridlington, and there's an Owner's Only park called Far Grange at Skipsea near Driffield.

The Co-Op Live Arena is the worse arena I have been to, everything is so disorganised form getting in to the staff who ae clueless and how it is the largest capacity I can only put down to having cramped seats with very little leg room that have been crammed in=, their is nothing around it unlike the AO Arena (MEN Arena) which has everything around it. I think this arena was unnecessary and a total waste of money and I won't be n a hurry to go back to it. Regarding the side views, I totally agree they are terrible and especially for the price.

Disagree, thought all staff very efficient and helpful, just not happy had awful seats a present for my 70th. All we saw was neil walking up and down stage ,not sure who to contact, was very disappointed, as love them

@@GillBuckley-gc9cv I am in no hurry to rush back to the Co-Op Arena, I don't think it will last long and it's a mistake building it. Nothing around it and poor seating etc.

Clare Uchima did a very satisfying fill in for the incomparable Dusty.

I totally agree, I realise times have to change and keep up but sometimes it would be nice to just leave certain things alone to keep their own identity and history.

It was a good weekend apart from the weather, lets hope October will be better weather.

When it first opened, you could clearly see the light as soon as you drove past Stateline coming from CA. They reduced the power to save money after the economic crash of 2008. It's not nearly as bright now.
