Great video! She sells opaque date stickers that you can’t see through as well that just say the month and number not the day of the week. If you wanted to change the days and start using them right away 😊

It is wax bloom. Did you put some heat to it?

I agree, it looks like wax bloom. I heard you can use a low heat blow dryer to warm the wax then rub gently with soft cloth. You can always call them too to verify. Good luck!

That looks like wax bloom on the leather. The kind you can get with Austen/Pemberley leather if it sits for long periods not being handled. If you polish it up with a soft cloth and some heat, it'll re-absorb back into the leather and get you that glossy finish back hopefully.

You might need to give it a good polish. My other TN are like that the ones that I haven’t used and once you give them a polish, it’ll remove that dust that’s embedded into the leather. Happy unboxing. 2:32

The stitching you don't like is called a 'backstitch'. It's completely normal in the sewing world. It's probably the start and stop point on this folio. Nothing to worry about. It's a sign of good sewing practice.
