    I love to read. I have been a reader since a small child. My mom bought books for me as well as magazines and the newspaper. I am now 72 and still love to read, often reading up to 5 books simultaneously. I now often read books on a Kindle. My eyes tire more easily now so I am enjoying Audible. I sometimes read my favorite books more than once.

    Hey I like some books and I’m not a huge book reader and your videos seem very nice and your voice is very appealing and your tone is intriguing if you could do a book called the thing from another world the movies are my favourite and never got around to reading it because like I said I’m not really a reader and I think this may help me understand some of the changes and differences from a movie I dearly love

      Joseph, first off, thank you so much for your nice message. It truly means a lot. I think I have a lot of good content in the pipeline that you'll enjoy! I hope to deliver! Also, thank you so much for recommending a book! I am eager to read it!! It will be our book of the month for August and discussed in early September. I just want to make sure I have the right one. It looks like the book is "Who Goes There?" by John W Campbell, which inspired The Thing from Another World (1951) and The Thing (1982). Let me know if that is incorrect.

    Running 10 mile races and reading multiple books a month, not sure how you do it. Like that you shared criticism about a book…most people on here don’t provide their honest thoughts on books.

    • @FrancoisBookClub
      @FrancoisBookClub Před 4 měsíci

      I stay busy lol! I think it’s just as important to be critical of books as it is to praise them. The criticism is never intended to be from a mean place. It’s really tough to write a book (that’s why I just talk about them). But if a little criticism helps folks find books that suit them rather than invest the time and effort into something they don’t like, I’ve done my job.
