Domeneghini Octave Mandolin_Mod Seamus // Shove The Pig's Foot A Little Further In The Fire
Flat top Octave Mandolin made in July 2023.
Italian figured Walnut for back and sides, Red Spruce top, mahogany neck.
This is a "Master line", the high end instruments of my production, with spirit varnish and more decorated bindings and rosette.
The tune is "Shove The Pig's foot a little further in the fire", beautiful american fiddle tune in g.
Audio and video recorded with Sony RX100M4.

Is this the seamus or castagna body size Samuel? Also what scale length is your short scale bouzouki?
This Is the "Seamus" shape, and the scale lenght on this One was a custom 600mm, beetween a Om and a bouzouki, tuned gdad with Octave mandolin strings

Is this normal Mandolin tuning please?
Usually tuned GDAE an octave lower from the mandolin, but i think in this video It was ADAE.

Ha un suono magnifico! Per scala corta, è inteso come un mandolino ottava? Di solito i bouzouki fanno 66 cm. di diapason ,intendo quelli scala " standard" .
