Yeah, Just want the recipe. Then I can watch a video. Too much run around. Thank you @komochi5377
How stupid adding a recipe with no quantities or link to get quantities 🙄
Foolish, absurd. No ingredients listed at all. Gi play somewhere else
Where on earth do I find the measurements, not even in the transcript.
No measurement given re butter , going to another recipe
Oh my goodness....great recipe.... but the cross-contamination you get with your flour bag and dipping fingers and forks in and out? Not a good role model thing that?
Great concise explanation of what looks like a fabulous dish. I’m off to the local butchers for lamb shanks so I can try this recipe out. Greetings from England.🇬🇧🇬🇧
I much rather the lady from NZ on CZcams recipe. 🤷♀️
Love AWWCs I still have mine from the 90s
I have made this recipe, but i much prefer the richness of butter, i definitely felt they lacked richness. They were light fluffy n nice when straight out of the oven but much prefer the original recipe
You explain very clearly what you are doing and why. Very helpful to new cooks ,but nice reminders of some concepts for more experienced chefs.
Great buns thanks
I’m cooking it right now, done twice before and it’s just delicious
What is the temperature of the oven
I nearly fell asleep watching this shit 😂
as soon as she wiped away the lamb juices from the pan before cooking the veggies i switched it off.. what kind of chef does that!
How much oil ??
1 x cup...😮😮
Lovely recipe. Thanks for sharing but lamb could have done better with a bit more seasoning .
cooking time? amount of oats and butter? cant call it a recipe if you dont give the deets.
Great recipe... But how about measures for each ingredient? Nothing's said about it at all ! That's a major omission.
Is it possible to freeze half the raw dough and cook from frozen another day , please?
Did anyone need to add extra flour? Mine were very wet. I just hope they are edible (they're in the oven now)
Can I use cornflour instead of plain flour and can I use chopped walnuts instead of coconut? And...
Mine never spread and flatten out.😢
Hi it looks lovely. Did you leave the slow cooker on low for me the 6 hours Thanks Alan
Yummmmm
Rubbish
How much butter and how much icing sugar please?
As delicious as it seems, I would like it if you would state everything that you are actually putting into the pan just for an actual visual state in the process It would make it a bit more easier, besides having to go back and listen to what you put in there when you cut it or actually adding.
I’m not having a problem, just some more information
Its better to dip it the next day so the cake pieces doesn't break!
I have two words to add to this discussion: Passionfruit. Buttercream.
How do I get the recipe 1:50
Delicious 😊
what can u put other than wine?
I always use balsamic vinegar because I cannot have wine
Rather than having mashed potatoes, when is a good time to throw in some chopped potatoes into the slow cooker?
Superb
How much butter
Wondering how much butter too
She's delightful. Makes me miss my mum. 😁 Thanks for the throwback!
I love a scone! Mum's all over Australia bake scones with lemonade. Haven't adopted it from my mum just cos I never have it in the house and scone cravings are one of those things I get sudden bouts of, always half-past really late. In saying that I gotta try this. Really great tips and techniques I've already adopted, and I use buttermilk + lemon juice and a pinch of bicarb soda for the extra lift which doesn't seem to have the same effect as seen here. Cheers!
These aren’t ANZAC biscuits. Once you alter the recipe they become something different. The Australian Department of Veterqn Affairs have a guideline that ought to be respected. It’s even illegal too sell an altered recipe as ‘ANZAC biscuits.’
I love how one of the supporting prongs off the sieve is missing, causing it to be unstable .. 😂😂 doesn't everyone have one just like that in their cupboard?? I do.. 🤭🤣
Just made these , so soft and fluffy thank you .
You didn't mention how much butter. Can you please provide the recipe? This is pointless without the recipe. I'm going to look somewhere else.
Whoah that escalated quickly
Jam and then cream 👍
she threw away the fond lol!
What temperature on slow cooker, high or low?
Do you have to put in all that sugar? Can leave it out?
I was going to make these, but the amount of sugar put me off! These are the ingredients for the recipe in the video: 125 grams (4oz) butter, chopped 2 tablespoons golden syrup or treacle (see tips) 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) 2 tablespoons boiling water 1 cup (90g) rolled oats (see tips) 1 cup (150g) plain (all-purpose) flour 1 cup (220g) firmly packed brown sugar 3/4 cup (60g) desiccated coconut These are the ingredients from the BBC Good Food website recipe (I made this one instead). They were tasty but I could taste the bicarbonate of soda which was a bit unpleasant, so I will use less next time. Ingredients 85g porridge oat 85g desiccated coconut 100g plain flour 100g caster sugar 100g butter, plus extra butter for greasing 1 tbsp golden syrup 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda As you can see the quantities for the BBC recipe are fairly similar - except the quantity of sugar is less than half and the quantity of bicarbonate of soda is double. A fair bit less butter and flour too. If/when I make these again, I will use the BBC recipe again, but halve the amount of bicarbonate. I think the ones in the video would be far too sweet with more than twice the amount of sugar and golden syrup 😮. I am sure you could make them with even less sugar, biscuits are fairly forgiving. Not sure you can leave it out completely though?
what is the point of saying it is the best recipe if you then don't provide the ingredients.
If they’ve got fruit or nuts in then they aren’t Anzac buiscuits
You’re 109% correct. Furthermore, it’s illegal too sell ANZAC biscuits that have an altered recipe.
