Latest on the garden railway - 30th July 24

Progress with the garden railway - now laid a 32mm alongside the original 45mm. More challenges and thought how to change the waste ground into something more viewable. Cottages made from concrete and felt so that can be left outside in all weathers - aggregate wagons made from scratch using Plasticard - long way to go but lot of progress made.

First bit of sunshine 2024 and its back in the garden - track cleaned and engines shacking off the cobwebs - still adding and figuring detail, some homebuilt some bought. Railcar at end of vid is hand built from plasticard, (no instructions) and not quite finished yet

Views of the Industrial Museum at Wollaton Hall on a steaming day. The first view is of the Siemens steam generator that had not run in over 4yrs (taken 5 days before the steaming day) on test it was found to have a problem so was not steamed on the day unfortunately. Also is the starting up of the Basford Beam engine.

Is there a better video of the Brush running on its own?
i haven't a better video don't know if there is another online - steaming days are last Sunday of the month when most of the engines are working at the same time and it is rare to have it running on its own - the only time would be if it has a repair that needs to be checked out.

@@stanbown8083 there was a period in time when (due to track circuit issues) 158's ran as a 1/2 set with a 156. This is what you have here. Look at the windows, doors, bogies & valence on the front unit (2:18)
