Fuck this hits me hard..... I was going through divorce when this song came out. This was me. Lost (divorce) and Found (new relationship). God im tearing up hearing this again and remembering what I went through.....

I saw them live 10 times. I have never heard another group replicate their recorded music so accurately live as UB40.

I give thanks I was alive to enjoy this band in their heyday. Indeed I worked in security and was fortunate enough to see UB40 up close 10 times, usually stopping the hoardes from crossing the barriers to get onto the stage!

With the August 2024 riots in Northern Ireland and England, I remembered this song today. For them to write a song like this taken from their political album in 1980 is testament to their thoughtfulness about the consequences of colonialism in difficult times. ❤️
