We have some great shos, great slippers, the best slippers in the world. Carl the other day was telling how great our shoes are. We are working on an announcement that is going to be HUGE that I know you'll like, but you're not ready for it, so you're going to have to wait like all the other people that love our shoes. When we do release the news, it's going to be HUGE, like when NASA put man on the moon. I was going to be the first person on the the moon, but I declined, even though the head of NASA begged me to become an astronaut. I declined, the helmet thing would mess up my hair, not good. In a couple of months we'll be releasing a new, never seen before EuroClog/Slipper that will be huge. Stay tune to CZcams for updates. You'll want to see it, it's going to be huge, huge I tell you!

Thank you for sharing your experience @larryleonard3922. I'm curious when the last time you tried a mesh/fabric shoe as we have found that the soles wear out on quality brands like Propet, Orthofeet and Apis before the fabric uppers do.

@@Dtfootwear I always order from Ortofeet. For my situation I normally order 13-6E for my right foot and 11.5-6E for my left foot.

Yes, this is an actually client order that is only a 9E wide shoe. We can get them made in widths up to 14E which is noticably bigger!

Some people are just built differently, that's for sure!

This is a waterproof hiking shoe with a mild foot rocker. This shoe has a wider, full toe box and comes with a removable insert. The width you need depends on the width of your foot. @@Dtfootwear Thank you for your response. Regarding the mild rocker of the Proper Vercors, is this rocker bottom rigid or flexible. I need a rigid sole with a forefoot rocker. If this model does not have that, could you recommend another waterproof model of shoe that might have the feature I'm looking for? Thanks.

They meet international specs, but do not have a CSA tag for Canada. We will be adding a new line shortly that is CSA approved.

Thank you for sharing your experience with washing sneakers. Most sneakers with a mesh/fabric upper could be washed like you've done. There are some shoe that are specifically designed to be machine washed like the Washable Walker - bit.ly/42LrQFd

It depends on the quality of the burnishing and the eye of the beholder.

Fortunately, not everyone does. But, for those with foot issues, it's important to get a proper foot size to ensure a proper fit so the shoe doesn't irritate the foot.

Yes, the texture of leather will look different in it's raw form, but through burnishing, the leather is polished for a more aesthetic look. While DT Footwear has only had an online presence for about 10 years, Ron Heinlein, the owner of the company, has been in the shoe business for close to 50 years and has close relationships with a number of shoe vendors, including Propet, which is why we don't need to work with Amazon.

There are a number of styles that can accomodate an AFO. Without knowing the width of your foot and AFO, I don't know how wide of a shoe you'll need. With that information we can determine if you need a 6E, 9E, 10E or 14E wide shoe as an example. Once we get into 10E and 14E options become limited. Heel pain is typically going to be a support issue. Look for a quality insert with a good heel cup or buy shoes that come with quality inserts in the first place like Propet or Orthofeet which we carry.

Yes, Sketchers does have wide shoe up to 4E. For those needing a wider shoe like a 6E, 9E or even 14E, they'll need to find another solution like Apis which is a line that we carry.
