九州放送機器展2019 7/31・8/1 初日にお邪魔してきました。 ２年ぶりに行きましたがFBSの中継車に入れたのは良い思い出になりました。 (運転席も許可を得て撮影させていただきました)
That detachable control head needs a Longer cable for remote mounting.
US version, at least, comes with that. (I just bought one.)

How many tx range 7 mhz in jp mode ? Tx 7.000.000 mhz-7.200.000 mhz ? Or same as American mode
The static "MEM SCAN" message display, instead of showing frequencies cycling while scanning, is completely and utterly visually unappealing and disappointing for the FT-5D, and wholly unexpected and undeserving of the current Yaesu flagship HT product. If more prospective buyers knew this before purchase, I guarantee it would affect sales- which is my mission. THIS NEEDS FIXED NOW.
Is the screen capacitive (like smartphones), or resistive (like old tablets, which you had to "press") ??

ほんと、ヤエスのアップデートはわかりづらいですね。説明書も、大事なところを適当に省略して、間違いようがないところを詳しく説明していて、一筋縄ではいかないメーカーですね。 PCからアップデートデータをmicroUSBメモリに書き込んで、それを無線機に入れてアップデートする方式だといいのにと思います。
この無線機を車に付けてモービル運用出来ますか？その時の電源はシガーソケットより電源とれるんですか？つまらない質問コメントですいません。
シガープラグコード（第一電波 CG1など）を別途用意すれば、シガーソケットに接続して車で運用することは可能です。 シガーソケットに接続して使用している方も多いです。 ですがシガーソケットでは車側の電線が細かったり、シガープラグ端子の接触面積が少なく必要な電流が安定確保できず、 送信が安定しなかったり、車側のヒューズが切れたりで、おすすはしません。 どのモービル無線機でも同じことが言えます。 3級 50W機(FTM-300D)で約 11アンペア / 4級 20W機(FTM-300DS)で約 7アンペア 必要です。 受信がメインだったり、とりあえず設置したい場合はシガーソケットに接続しても良いかもしれませんが、 きちんと運用したい場合は、車のバッテリーに電源を接続したほうが良いと思います。 ご自身での施工に不安がある場合は、アマチュア無線のショップで取り付けしてくれる所もありますし、 自動車整備工場や自動車電装店でも施工してもらえると思います。 ㈲福岡ハムセンターでは有償で取付もしてくれます。(九州ですが…) 長文ですいませんでした。

3D panorama is useless option. I hope Yaesu will get rid of It, and change It to Averaging setting of the screen, wich they forgot to install on both radios, FTDX101D and FTDX10

I bought the FTDX 101 MP EXCELLANT RADIO ! Its all on your preferance of the controls all 3 are great radios . Th3 101 mp is 200 watts

Not impressed! The 3D waterfall is nothing more than a distracting gimmick and they should have just went ahead and put 2m & 70cm in it and called it a FT-992. For what it is it way overpriced. No thanks' Yaesu I'll just keep my FT-2000 as it's a better radio.If I buy a new radio it will probably be a ICOM IC-7610. KE0SJQ.

Can the display be changed to show a traditional waterfall? To me, the new 3D style seems a little messy when scrolling through the frequencies.

@@andhanwer I bought one, receiver is excellent. transmitter excellent. scope usable. got one of first 8 radios HRO got. using 2 weeks. sitting next to my TS-890. running CW on 160M, outstanding!
The side grips are probably from an Icom 7300? Seemed a little short on both the front and rear. That means it is slightly deeper than the IC 7300. The grips looked great, though.
They are rails from the 991 version.

If its the dame as the 101, the level and span needs setting for best reliability.. cant see why they don’t get someone to demonstrate it properly . Seems crazy way to get folk interested in buying it..

Not really a Yaesu guy, but this is a nice looking radio. Took many of the IC-7300 features and added them from the 991A. The 3D scope display is pretty neat. And added more functions to the touch screen. Now just need a say to save settings but maybe you can do that with the USB

I hope the microphone lighting on this device is higher than on the FTM-400 Micro and i hope the Tx/Rx Modifikation is simpler. Have u modified a FTM-400? I don't understand why they make it so difficult, with other devices I press a few buttons and the device is modified and good. I am waiting for the next generation of the FTM-400.
