Of all the scenes committed to film, the speech in the courtyard is the one I would've loved to witness on set.

That speech was so full of it. All the Divine rights and generations of "make believe" gravy for the masses, when IN REALITY _his crown was own by Norman's USURPATION since the Dux William invaded and won at Hastings WITH the help of barons, not "god's hands" anymore than Devil's help in perpetrating and conceiving an evil deed.
