What would be nice is if there were barber shops that were exactly like they were in the 50's,with guys that looked like Ward Cleaver. No tattoos,no nose rings,no borderline psychopathic criminal looking people. No zz top beards. This whole fad with people with tattoos of skulls on their arms and face and necks is disgusting. You have some guy thats wearing a laurel and hardy bowler with a pringles man handlebar mustache and hes got tattoos covering his face. Its just anf ugly weird hipster trend. All the cool people in the 50's and into the 60's dressed in suits and nobody had tattoos. This includes the rock n rollers at the time. So where did this ugly nightmarish scumbag hipster look come from?
When did a barber become cool? This is a trend. I don't mind tattoos, but you can't tell the difference between a tattoo artist and a barber now

"a walking commercial for the shop" Wow, that's how you look at it!!! I can only hope to find a barber near me that can cut hair half as good as these guys. If I get my hair cut someplace near me it's a commercial for where not to go. You guys are great! You know it's a great place when it's standing room only everyday! Ride 2 hrs for a haircut? WOW!!!! You leave there looking fantastic, not like you just climbed out of a wood chipper! I think it's really cool some of the downtrodden have gotten a second chance and have excelled!! Beautiful!!
If anyone knows a barber shop in Southern California (preferably the Los Angeles area) where the barbers take craftsmanship like these barbers to the max, I definitely need a great barber like one of these gentlemen who specialize in pompadour fades.

Wish we had barbers like them. The ones here they don't do a very good job cutting hair. And there is hardly anybody that goes there. The hair salon place is always packed all the time. And they do very good job.
Wish we had barber's like them in my area. There is a barber shop but they do not do a very good job at all. And they hardly have anybody go in to get a haircut. Everybody goes to the hair salon place and get there haircut and beard trim and shave.
