I see little value in the funds, at least so far. You could get a slightly better result by just investing in the same ETF (IVV or QQQ) and selling some shares every month to duplicate the distributions. After a year, you even get some tax advantages. What value do these funds offer then?

If the NAV keeps dropping 10 percent per year after 5 years you only have 50 percent of the fund to sell call options on. The better metric would be to find out if the yield is actually being paid out by the income from the options they are writing. When the fund managers can show this then the fund makes sense, otherwise they are just robbing Peter to pay Paul, betting on the market to keep going up to bail them out.

Both XDTE and QDTE from Roundhill have a better track record and both pay weekly dividends allowing for better compounding vs monthly

GPIX seems to be matching SPYT total returns with lower MER. Might make for a good deeper analysis/comparison.

That's not how credit spreads work. Buying the long call that's further OTM doesn't "allow them to participate in some growth". If the underlying goes past their short strike (to a certain extent, past the breakeven point) then they lose money on the spread overall, period. The only way they participate in the upside is by investing in the underlying itself. To simply understand why this is the case, consider that the short call is worth more than the long call, therefore, any loss on the short side will always result in a greater loss than any increase in the value of the long call, thus causing a net loss.

I found spyt a better deal than qqqt since both have around the same goal of 20% thought spyt is more diversified and less volatile.

One question, please! Is NVIDIA a safe buy to outperform the market this year? I'm tired of these new buys every week, just to make up some assets with a low percentage on my $236k portfolio and try to keep everything around 10%.

The video helped me looking at QYLD from a different angle, I have concluded that it is not the investment for me at all. Well done and thank you.

Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.
