Thanks for posting the video, much appreciated. Can you tell me please, if you have used the camera in the rain? I ask as the camera is supposed to be waterproof but on my first instance of being caught out in the rain yesterday, the camera clearly isn't. It locked up and refused to respond/switch-off or do anything. It would be handy to know if this is a one off situation as I'm taking it back to the dealer. Other reviewers have said that the camera is good in the wet because it doesn't need a waterproof case. My expectation was that the camera would be waterproof as expressed on the packaging. Unfortunately, the 'Warranty' disclaimer says that the Warranty is void if the camera is damaged 'by water'!

Good that it ended well. Happens all the time. Look at their wheels. If they aren't stopping, followed by actually, visibly stopped, then I'm stopping. The moron will then look at you as if you are the idiot. But, alive and unhurt, you can ride on.

The big issue is the training given to young drivers by todays instructors regarding junctions. Too much emphasis is given to getting away quickly at Give Way junctions rather than taking an extra second or two to check for motorcycles or other road users. When I tried to tell my daughters to slow down at junctions and check, I was told that they would fail their test if they hesitated. Not good enough, road safety should be paramount.

Glad you got away with it and that you're ok. You should have stopped and in a very direct manner had a word with the driver because his lazy attitude to driving could have had a tragic outcome. Well done for posting this.

I was told a good tip by a police rider. When approaching a side road with a car waiting to come out move from one side of the road to the other as the sideways movement catches the drivers attention. If you don't, the driver will see a stationery light and not register that it is a bike. I do it all the time and I see the drivers notice the sideways movement.
